This is very interesting! I havent heard of this technique before. I wonde ric you can do this on big looms or if the weight of all the other warp threads would make it impossible?

I don't know, maybe if the fabric was warp-faced (only the warp shows and the weft is hidden) like with tablet weaving. Something to try out.
