An in-depth look at my time proven tactical carbine and pistol system. In this Nutnfancy Systems Philosophy video intended for responsible civilians, LE, and military, I advocate you square your tactical system away! From gun choice, to slings, to optics, to pistol choice, and holsters, I cover some proven lessons from experiences in TNP. I focus on value and no-nonsense performance. I eschew hype, group think, tacticool, and forum rhetoric to get a system that is reliable, accurate, lightweight, and personally tailored. //Subscribe to TNP for more videos like this!

+Deerslayer1912 100% agree. It's 2016 and alot has changed. For instance on i dont even run a sling anymore (run a s-ring set-up on the carrier). Also boots are a must too for all the guys doings Soldier Boy.

@74Hobbes Hobbes! Love having you in the comments my brother. Thanks man for the support. The system shown is just a springboard for several POUs. I am surprised however how happy I am with it in hard core day after day RunNGunning and reviewing. I'd up arm a bit and throw in water and a FAK in the serious stuff; the other stuff is pretty squared. This is a great LE trunk setup too.

I appreciate all the time you put into the TNP project and have found it to be a source of truth on much of my gear. The one thing I would add to this is a watch. I heard you already touched on the radio so other than that 5 *****. Thanks again brother.

Hey nutn, I know this vid is old and you may have changed your mind on somethings. But, I just wanted that I built my AR-15 when I was fifteen (now sixteen) using palmetto state armory and aero precision parts. I watched a 15 minute KZfaq vid on how to put it together and I did the lower in about 45 minutes. The rifle is mil-spec and 100% reliable. I have put arose around 800-1000 rounds through it in about a year and have had zero issues with so called "unreliable steel cased wolf and Tula ammo" and the best part is it only cost me about $700 buck to build it. Of course I have up graded it and all said and done in looking at about $1,300 over all. I say build your own rifle. Just a stupid sixteen year old's opinion though. Hahaha love the vids, thanks Nutn!!!

Great work Auggie. I think Nutn and most other people would say you rock and do what works for you. You're happy with what you have created and that's important along with whether it actually functions properly. Everyone has their own needs, skill-set, budget and time constraints. Only you can decide what's best for you. You don't sound stupid to this 40yr old.
@TheMetalHeaD256
@TheMetalHeaD256 9 жыл бұрын
August Tirone Being 18 I did essentially the same thing. I built a Spike's lower and put a BCM upper on it, 100% reliable. However I've not put a single steel-cased round through it. No real reason other than I like shooting accurately and Wolf, while it fires every time, doesn't print fantastic groups. I would say that the ammo you stock for SHTF might ought to be brass-cased, for two reasons: 1). it keeps your chamber cleaner, and in WROL you might have to go long periods of time without cleaning your rifle and 2). Reloading. My dad and I have started hand reloading, and we can make match 5.56 for Federal American Eagle prices, and blasting 5.56 for Wolf prices. And there's no shortage of good range brass to find from OTHER people, too, haha. You might ought to look into reloading. It's a really cool and fun hobby and it will eventually start to save you money.
@americanmight5067
@americanmight5067 9 жыл бұрын
August Tirone Not stupid man, you cant argue with reliability. My ar is a lower I built, with a bcm upper, and ive shot mostly tula out of it. Im prolly at about 6-700 rounds and some of it hot, fast and dirty, and I haven't had a single malfunction. Now im not throwing it in the mud first but I think that's a decent enough sample to feel comfortable with its performance.

Can't say it enough brother...you ALWAYS practice what you preach. Not only giving us deals with certain outfitters as well as giving us the tools to not only ask the right questions of the gear producers when we're about to spend our hard earned money, but to ask those even harder questions to ourselves in the different POU's. This really drives home a lot of the concepts you've always talked about and points the end user in the right direction.

Part I like best is you don't let your head swell up because of all your viewers. (I'M NOT A EXPERT BUT A JACK OF ALL TRADES) You set a good example of a person who cares about the average Joe. It is best to be well rounded just in case you don't have your stuff when you need it. Adapting is the key.

@nutnfancy Bro dog....ALWAYS support for you. I agree and appreciate the "springboard" effect of the system you have shown. And in looking back at several other videos and thinking upon the philosophies, one can spend a great deal of time just putting together at least 3 lists of of systems that directly spin off from this both in a 2nd kind of cool as well as a hard core value system. The possibilities are truly only as limited as your imagination. Great work man!

Wow that was an informative video. It's great to try to determine which gear might be the best for any given role but I think putting it all together into a package that is ready to go and "squared away" is something that a lot of us haven't fully considered. Thinking back a few years to my paintball days, I can totally relate to your line of thinking. I had that gear "squared away." Now I need to fast forward to the present day and build a system like that for real.
