Really hope you make a gene guide, because I didn't play the first game so I'm kind of a noob about the whole gene thing and it would be nice to know what to look out for when it comes to certain monsters.

I looked it up and made the same quest like you but I didn't get the follow up quest, I looked it up on the internet and found out that after the mainstory you need to go back to your first town and talk with a person in blue next to the quest board, follow up the quest and you'll get the quest started for all of that

@@blazesona12 yes, when you can do the deviant quest line you already can do the elder quest line The path at the top is to unlock deviant / elder quests

Thank you for sharing. I had exactly the same problem - no follow up quest after the artifact excavation but I went back to Mahana Village and there was a person in blue next to the quest board who gave me a letter from a clerk. I found the clerk in Lulucion sitting besides the quest board. She gave me a quest with a Pink Rathian and that was the beginning of this story line for me.

It might sound silly, but, I'd love to see an ideal Zinogre build, if it was okay! I'm new to the Monster Hunter series, partially because the normal Mon-Hun games feel so...weird to control, for me? I've never been able to figure out why, though, despite trying various demos for different games. Stories 2, though, definitely pulled me in because of being an RPG, and Zinogre was the monster that made me melt; they're so cool, and even kind of adorable to me, so after I saw your video on how to get one, I had to go get my own zapper pupper. XD

it'd be awesome to see the builds you suggest for the elder dragon line ups. they seem to come with a lot of "slat in wound" or "kinship up" genes and i can't decide if i want to pull those off to go for bingos or leave them in and build around it!

I used Reverto for the final boss in Elder's Lair (I won't name it to avoid spoilers for those who haven't reached it), and he was an absolute dps lord. It made the fight so easy lol

exactly. there is no secret at the end of the quest line. it just ends with a nergigante. i've even done the entire elder's lair just to see if that advances it past nerg. nothing at all.

Ight because the quest is for kinship level 9, which is unlocked through a Deviant questline with somebody in Lulucion, after your Kinship is at level 9, you can do Lilias quests

Do the Clerks quest in Lulucion, that quest line will unlock Kinship level 9 which will allow you to do the quest.

I love my green nargacuga. Even though I know silverwind is better. My green narga boi has been my staple monstie. He’s taken out every elder dragon I’ve faced off against so far. Just so reliable.

Hey, so basically Nergigante is the only elder dragon you can get outside of SR dens or SR multiplayer, you can find his egg in rare dens outside Nue ta village. The rest of the elders you have to use your SR expeditions or find a SR den which are about as rare as a shiny pokemon

you gotta do the quest line for the deviant monsters. in Lulucion, there's this Pukei-Pukei girl. do her quests and at some point she will tell you that someone's looking for you in the Scrivener's office. it's the Kirin quest given to you by Lilia and the start of the quest line :)

You need kinship lvl 9 to do those quests which there is a npc in Lulucion to unlock kinship 9, you will know who it is because it will say Clerk as her name

So is it really just clickbait and there is no secret bossfight after the Nergigante? Because there wasnt anything amazing about the Nergigante fight, you just beat him and thats it, and now i dont know if he meant the Nergigante or not.

well, idk if he is genuinly mistaken or hoped to get more attention this way but there IS a secret final boss but that is unrelated to this quetsline. you can "technically" do it as soon as you finished the story boss by doing the additional dungeon (elders lair) whic btw also allows you farm the elders (more convenient, too)

@@marvinn838 well, just wanted to prevent actual spoilers for it if you didnt find it yet (or anyone happen to read it by going through the comments) but yeah, even after more research I could not find anything and by nowI am done with all sidequests and only need to do my second lair run, no more quest showed up in any town nor the springs

@@johannesnagengast7643 well Altaroth can be done in the Elders Lair. while they are annoying at first because (espcially in run#2) they deal alot of damage but you can specifically find them in the volcano area rather than HOPING (which I didnt find a single one in 3h resetting lairs). what Monster do you still miss for the Monsterpedia?

Bottlecaps aren't finite. You can easily farm about 40 bc per normal expedition or slay quest in end game.
