I just want to say I have not driven my 2015 Nissan Sentra in 7 months because I couldn’t figure out WHY! I paid over 300.00 in diagnostic fees and NOBODY could figure it out but this video on a ALTIMA not even a Sentra helped me SO MUCH! I had no idea about this hiden fuse compartment. I just want to say because of you I can finally drive my baby after over half a year! You are the best shout out from El Paso Texas!!! I can’t thank you enough!!!!

For any sentras or nv2000 it is F6 POS Lamp, save your time. Also replace f7, pulled f6 and to what I expected burnt fuse. Replaced both and parking light works.

My moms 2005 Altima’s fix. After trying all “THREE” fuse boxes, changing bulbs (smh, bulbs wasn’t blown) it was the brake light switch that was causing the break lights not to work. (Break light bulb is the same as the tail light bulb, if the tail light works then check your brake light switch. 30 second fix, no tools required to replace.

My taillight on the right side will not work replace the harness, only the brake light and signal light works so I only have one taillight can you help

Hi Kristin so if it's popping the fuse that means that it is shorted to ground and other words a positively charged wire is touching a negative wire or chassis. The most common problem with that is the Light Bulb Has shorted out that's what I would try first

If you go to the AutoZone on Greensprings or actually just any AutoZone they were usually installed the bulb for you for free if you buy a bulb from them

Hey I’m having this same problem my taillights don’t work but my brake lights do I checked the fuses and both were blown like in the video.. but after I replaced them they still don’t light up when I check with my circuit tester. Any suggestions?

Maybe a bad bulb that shorted out the fuse. Try and check the bulb

He said he looked but if this happens to you, CHECK THE LIGHT AND SEE IF ITS BURNT! I thought I had a fuse issue after watching this because I didn’t check and assumed, but it was just a burnt tail light.

Same issue. Used 4 different bulbs. Cut the plug and wired a new one. Still nothing so far

Did you end up replacing any wiring? I have a similar problem with a 2015 Altima that had been in an accident.. was working fine until it was in another accident and the right rear tail light keeps blowing fuses

Yeah your's has a short to ground

@@DavidTheMechanic fun.. body shop who repaired the accident damage could't find anything, but I think the wiring in the front of the car is a mess from the first accident,. Was trying to figure out if any of the wiring damage from a front end collision could cause problems with the rear tail light. Body shop doesn't think so.

Now my 2015 Altima no tail light driver side but brake light works great, and actually tail light is on but very dim barely see it at night even. Fuses are ok and bulb was replaced 2 times and it's driving me nutty. What am I overlooking. I hate electrical problems and get so frustrated I need some advice on what else I can look at to fix the tail light
