Kristopher Prevo Relax, if you study Japanese culture, they do take their craft very seriously. Not that anyone else can't do it. The Japanese are just that much more passionate about what they want to master. May I suggest you go study other culture before you start bitching.

@GBO76 5 жыл бұрын
I love Japan too, safe country, a lot of respect of everyone for the community. But underneath such an organisation, there are also some downsides. One of the higher suicide rate in the world reveals some of them...it's hierarchical stuctures is pretty harsh.The way Amano treats employees in this video, and the comments you can read about it, shows how humiliation is an everyday thing. Don't lose your job in Japan. Don't have child if you are a woman and want to work. And Japanese are patriots...If one of your parent isn't japanese, you will never be considered as a real japanese yourself. Some kind of a pure blood thing that would be considered as racism in many other countries. I don't even talked about black, or immigrants. Anyway, Japan works that way, and I can understand why they wants to preserve their way of life.

i can see where you're coming from but for me, i think he sounds quite calm and reasonable. sure he's firm but he's in charge of a project and is directing workers to ensure they work efficiently and complete the project correctly. they made mistakes after he's already told them how to do it so now he's making sure they understand what they've done wrong and how it should be corrected. its better that than being vague and overly pleasing, if the job is done incorrectly the client feels disappointed, Amano has lost respect and the workers have missed an opportunity to learn. if I was there as an employee, bystander or client I'd be equally impressed and admire his professionalism and knowledge of aquascaping.

i was working in japan several years ago and this is exactly everybody talk to whoever they work with. they aren't mad, they just -kitsui- or more like very serious about a job they're doing. but they have different way to talk when they're not working. japanese people is very strict about job, but if the job done as they expected, they are really, ReALLY fun people.

Yes, I know what you mean, but it is the sound of the language and the different culture. He really seems to be reasonable to me - even tho my comment here is based on limited experience of Japanese culture. I appreciate it even tho I don't know much about it, other than having some friends in and from Japan. As a comparison, it would be interesting to hear this exchange with Germans or Russians or other cultures - even American. They would all be different in many ways, but maybe not so much?

@Eli_B3000
@Eli_B3000 8 жыл бұрын
+Fernando Velasco Not really. Those would distract from the aquascape and tank layout. The point is for the smaller fish in larger schools to give a sense of scale to the tank. Larger colored fish would be a distraction, and make the focus the fish, and not the aquascape. What you are describing is essentially putting a clown nose on the Mona Lisa.
@Thaleya1

He put way to many fish in it, for my opinion. Some schools of tiny fishes and one discus fish school would have looked amazing. or ust alot less small fish, and less different species. But hey it's not my tank, wish it were though.

true fuck "balancing" ph. Just leave it the way it is, the way it comes from your tap. It might lower a bit due to dissolved organics in the aquarium but it'll be close to your tap. no fancy ph changing chemicals, just let it be. hell, even discus have been known to breed in 7.8+ ph's.

I agree with Karim, i use crushed coral media bags to drop the pH, but other than that i leave the water the way it comes out of the tap. And, i have Discus! They would rather have consistency than fluctuations in pH

何人かであれこれ言いながら配置決めるよりも、1人のデザイナーの指示で動いた方が効率が良く、完成度も高いのですよ。

They don’t. They use puregen in their filters to remove the tannins. The guy from green aqua said that.
