What started as another boy band became something far greater than anyone could've possibly imagined. Take That's songwriting is second to none, especially for a boyband.

Watching the 5 of them on stage is something that I can difficult can put into words

Beautiful. Just beautiful. 8 letters, 3 words, 1 meaning. Goosebumps.

Here, because I saw TT3 on TV last month and ended a 27 year hiatus. Boy, had I a lot of catching up to do, lol. Took me a while to sort what had happened in the interim. It‘s so bittersweet to watch a radiant Jason with his awesome stage presence in these live videos all the while knowing that he ended this life for himself. Even years after the fact, it‘s not easy to let go of the idea of him in that band, but I think if you really support J, you cherish the moments he gave us, you remember him with fondness and keep him in your heart as a member of TT, but you do not hope that he comes back. To accept someone‘s decision entails not to hope the person will change it. Apparently he knew where he was headed for a couple of years. If it takes that long to finally act on what you have in your heart, it is usually because you do not want to hurt the people you care about. Because it‘s a tough one that, especially when they tried everything to meet you half way and it‘s just still not enough because there is no middle ground. And I think when you know that the band, that the fans still hold out hope that you’ll come back one day, it makes it harder to stay connected, even on a private basis, because each contact can be like ‚oh, maybe he is coming back now‘ and you just do not want to put them and yourself through that. TT, at least for me, work as TT5, TT4, and TT3. It’s not the same, but it’s still TT with the vocals and the harmonies. And life, for me, is about embracing change and making the best out of it. And TT do that in such a brilliant manner. I am glad they and RW got to make amends and do this cathartic album together. And that they continue to give us more beautiful music. I know the song is about RW and TT, but it gives me a sense of nostalgia and peace of mind that actually makes me think of J. Which I find quite ironic given the fact how strongly J opposed RW making this song all about him with his lyrics.

There is something in Take That that no other boybands have. Considering BSB or Nsync are kings, then Take That are Gods !

Robbie really is a class lyricist. There's never any 'filler ' in his prose. No crap words sitting there just to make up a ryhme. Unique too, no-one writes like Rob, and I'm not sure anyone could. Self defeating, self defining. He's a specialist. So so, underrated. This is lovely.

I had the lyrics to this song tattooed on the top of my back as it is one of mine and my Mom's songs that means the world to us! I absolutely adore these boys and every song they make. I am a true Thatter and always will be for life. Whether theres 5,4 or 3 men in this group, however many, i will always be a huge fan of Take That 💙💖💜💚

What a shame how people can't give the value this song deserve... Eight letters is probably the best song ever made

Everything Take That do is so well thought out and perfectly executed. There's a reason they're still going strong after all the others have fallen by the wayside. Class is permanent.

this video brings back so many great memories🥰 since I wasn't able to support them in the '90s because I was only born in 2000 (😂), I discovered their music in my childhood and loved them from then on💞 so glad I got to see them live in Munich on the Progress Tour when I was only 11 years old🥳 I knew all the lyrics to every song straight away💪🏻😂 when Jason left the band, I felt very sad because he has always been my favourite member, but I really love them all! The voices, the music, the lyrics, even the personalities... it's just something else to all the others in at least todays music industry (in my opinion). I'm always kind of blaming myself for not being born a few years earlier😂 I just really want to be able to say "I'm here since the beginning"...😅 guess I can't change the fact that I'm only a fan since 2005, the first time my parents showed me a song🤷🏻‍♀️ imagine a five-year-old rockin' out to Relight my fire😂😂 quite fun, isn't it?🤭 what I wanted to say is that I owe you guys, Take That, a lot. I've been listening to your music all the way through my entire life and it definitely will last for the rest of my life as well. He doesn't appearance since 2012. And nobody knows nothing news about him. Well, I believe in a reunion like as happened at Progress .... hope other four to convince Jason to back. All waiting for it.

This makes me wanna cry, I get so nostalgic. The Progress era seems so long ago, it's a shame Robbie and Jason are not coming back for the new album and Take That has been reduced to a trio after an album, an EP and a tour with the full line-up. I don't think the trio tour will work just as the reunion did. :(

These guys melt my heart!!! I´m so proud of what they accomplished! Perfect description of Robbie´s feelings towards rest of the group, mainly Gary ( I believe!) ! In the end..love conquers all! So before I go away - I don´t forget to say, what is all I have to say ...I LOVE YOU!!!

This song makes me so emotional... The story it tells (Rob's lyrics in this case) is both beautiful and painful, but it's such a blessing to see them together having the time of their life... They were so happy. Btw, all the backing tracks for this album were prepared in advance by Gary and they wrote the lyrics and made whatever changes using them as the basis to work on. I hope they reunite again.
