I was out running, and me and my sister met a 90 year old man named Hicks and we asked what his greatest life lessons were .. and he said “Love your neighbors becasue they are your lifeline” and also “Never go to bed mad about anything” .. and as I left, I said to enjoy your day.. and he said “I always do, because I woke up today” And then we saw our neighbor outside and went to her and met her. Her name is Laura and she’s and older women and she was just taking her husband to the hospital for some treatment and we shared some love and kindness to her and made her day 🥰🥰🥰🥰

two decades of extreme anxiety and depresion has caused my body to tie up, my muscles are so tight that i have trouble moving properly, i turn my whole body around just to look in another direction, i have trouble breathing, i have headache's that can last for month's , it feels like i am carrying a heavy backpack at all times and everything from under my feet, my fingertips and the top of my head hurts from the moment i wake up until i go to bed, i rarely feel true joy or happiness, just tiresome hopelessness, if not for the heavy handed chiropractic treatment i get too loosen my muscles, i would probably be insane by now. but i tried this breathing method just now and i'm in tears, my body doesn't hurt for the first time in years and i can't stop smiling, i can turn my head and gyrate my hipps with out pain, my back feels great, my body feels warm and i feel the blood pumping all through my body, this stuff fucking works!!!! thank's mr hoff👍

Mann *** Just completed day 31 of this remarkable life observing breathing experience. My first breath usually tops around 1 minute 40 seconds, but the 2nd and 3rd sets I am exist with no air in my lungs for 2:00 minutes. However this evening my 2nd and 3rd sets were 2:15 minutes/seconds and 2:25 minutes/seconds. I felt warm tingling in my fingers and a trancelike aura in my mind. I focused on reconfirming myself to relax and observe the stillness and not fear. Then I heard a sound which I call "Che" (the creative voice of possibility) that lasted about 30 seconds. This is the best natural High that is greater than I Am. I always practice breathing during my lunch break, and if time permits I will do an evening experience. I can only image the disciplined focus and life changing benefits that I will enjoy as I improve my craft. -->To All breath in and breath out! PEACE

@andrewashington8562
@andrewashington8562 5 жыл бұрын
@@janjansen2091 I guess the best way to describe this is; completely relax the mind (which usually takes a few minutes. The mind always wants to analyze, try and project results, calculate situations and formulate judgments..... and or race to the next thought without you really understanding that these are just thoughts.) When the mind starts calming down it might go into a panic mode because it wants to think. However after a few minutes it will stop racing from thought to thought. At this moment focus on the feeling of just observing your breathing in softly and exhaling gently. If you are really alert and relaxed you will feel a slight surge of energy at the gap of space between the inhale breath and the exhale breath. I know this might sound crazy but that space of time is infinite and the energy there limitless and it can transcend anything into your being. Once you realize that you are feeling that energy, your mind will start racing more ideas into your brain, because it wants control. Its like trying to catch the "blue bird of happiness" we are mesmerized by it, but we can't hold on to it. I hope you can understand. Peace.

Been doing this method every day for four months now. It gets easier, and more rewarding I promise! The first month was good but tought. Month 2 and three I did a slightly slower version, which helped me learn the breathing better. month 3 I consistantly added a second round. Recently, I added a third round and pushups and squats during the retention of round three. HOLY MOLY. I'm releasing endogenous DMT into my brain! I'm feeling the tingles deep in my organs. I'm taking a cold shower after and feeling absolutely amazing. Stick with it everyone! This is for real, this is powerful, and this is beautiful.

Today it’s 11 July 2019, Oh my gosh. The best breathing exercise I’ve ever had. I have been suffering from sinuses that I can’t breathe without having to get rid of mucus first. Guys you will feel dizzy and have tingling in your body , it’s just coz your body is not used to getting a full oxygen into your lungs. It s normal reaction. I’m surprised that I can hold my breath for bloody 2 minutes. WTF man, this guy is a life saver. Thank you so much Wim Hof. I’ll remember this man forever! Sending love from London, UK.

I am currently in rehabilitation for the fourth time due to various drug additions and doing these breathing techniques feels 100x better than any of the drugs they are pumping into me to relax me and wind me down (Diazepam, Serquel etc..). I’ve seen a lot of sceptical methods about changing the body but I just tried this one for the first time and I can say I would NEVER have been able to go a minute without breath before trying this. Crazy... only trying this takes a few minutes of your life, please give it a whirl.

I have been doing casual meditation for several years about once a day. So I’m no stranger to “spiritual work”. I just did this breathing exercise for the first time. Multiple times I wanted to cry because how much joy I experienced, and love for everyone. Tingling sensation through my body. Holding my breath last time and when last round ended for about 30 seconds I experienced like there was nothing around me but me, then the world slowly crawled back into my awareness. Definitely a very powerful and unique method, recommend it to everyone, will be doing this every day. By the way first round I made it 1:36, 2nd 1:47, and 2:00. 👍

I'm going to do thing daily! Holy shit it is so powerful. Day Two: Even more powerful then the first day, I had a whole out of body experience and felt like I was floating. It felt like I was on acid. To all the people wondering it just depends on your personal experience. Some days it's not as dramatic as others but I do it everyday still. It helped my anxiety and depression. The main thing is you feel really tingly. (You dont see anything so dont be worried). The main thing is you need to keep trying of you dont feel anything.

This is the greatest meditation I’ve ever encountered! I do this exercise every morning and night, and let me just say I get a euphoric experience every time! If you can make the time, try doing it for yourself. More specifically, I like to do this right after my morning prayer (just before coffee and breakfast) and again while lying down in bed just before falling asleep. Remember the rules guys: 1. Safety is first! Do not do this while driving, operating heavy machinery, or anything that can put you in harms way. Be sure you’re in the comfort of your own environment and have your full body relaxed by either sitting down or lying down. 2. Try your best to perform the exercise on an empty stomach. 3. Never ever force yourself to go too far where you may faint. If you stay consistent with this routine, you’ll find yourself breathing better and holding your breath for even longer and truly connecting more with your body. 4. Breathe with your diaphragm, not your chest and shoulders. Focus on your body and notice if you’re moving your shoulders every time you take a breath. If so, try relaxing your shoulders and start the exercise by exhaling all of the air out of your body first. Good luck everyone and the moment you find yourself doing this properly, you’ll find yourself in the clouds by third round.

Agreed! I've been doing this for about a week now and I fall asleep maybe a sentence into, "Dear Lord, thank you for the life you have given me!" It's like a sleeping spell! Breathing meditation followed by prayer followed by near immediate sleep! Also, thanks for the tips about the whole shoulder/chest breathing. I think I've been pissing myself off trying to breathe deeper with my chest and shoulders... and while I enjoy the tingling euphoria, I hate the effort and frustration I get trying to breath deeply. I've been smoking since I was 16 and I'm 36 now. Damned cigarettes/vaping garbage.

This is the greatest thing I've found on the internet. Thank you SO much. It's like a daily dose of endorphins just sitting in a chair. I like to do this sitting in my computer chair in the dark with my eyes closed. After you do the intense breathing and you get to holding your breath, try to focus on just existing. Be nothing and no where. I like to pretend I'm just floating in space. Try putting your arms above your head when you hold your breath. If you can't make it the entire two minutes just take 1 deep breath and hold it. It feels AMAZING. How can you feel so alive and not be breathing?

Thats the difference of the age. Formal education evolved from the tribal version, where everything was for the good of the whole. Still is but now many have developed enough to start to discover "self" consciousness as opposed to group consciousness. Such breathing techniques go back to the dawn of time...which is one way the shaman developed his skills....they often " sing" all night if they have some specific task to perform. Of course singing and breathing control are integral. Not surprising that a guy with such charisma is popularising it these days. You will start to know things that you never did befor.Dont be concerned, thats part of the process of enlightenment...which is what is REALLY going on.

Had a buddy walk me through this video the first time. It's the first time ever finding something to control my thoughts. I can honestly say this has changed my life and how I view everything. Maybe thats extreme to some but there's no other way I feel about this. I remember uncontrollably smiling the first time because I just couldn't believe that breathing was all I need. Life isn't as hard as society makes it. Happy breathing✌️

Today morning was the first time I tried this for the whole three rounds and I can't even explain how I feel. There was a loud buzz and deep sensations from my head to toe and that's something I've never experienced before. I've noticed that when you inhale after breath retention, your brain gets all choked up on that oxygen which really helps it to get super active. Considering how I feel after one session, I'll definitely incorporate this twice in my daily routine. So much gratitude to Wim Hof

This really helps me calm down my heart rate a lot. Last night after I came back from work I had heart palpitations due to stress of the job. This breathing exercises took them away for me. I felt so calm after the 3rd round, my heart was back to normal and beating at 60bpm. If anyone is stressed out, this exercise will help you a lot :)

The guy I am talking to introduced me to this and oh my lord... When we did it together and it was my first time, it was euphoric when I finally inhaled after 2 minutes of holding my breath the other night. Now I'm doing this again myself and did the two minutes the first two rounds then the last round I went until I couldn't hold it anymore and made it to 3 minutes and the inhale felt the most euphoric. My whole body was in a buzzing state and it was the best feeling ever! I love this so much

Today I drank a little wine. then after a while I did the exercise ..... Then I could only hold my breath for one minute. Usually 2 minutes and more. It showed me that drinking alcohol doesn't feed my body well with oxygen. I'm thankful for this realisation,,😉

I tried this for the first time yesterday & right after round 2, a tingling/static like sensation began to travel across my hands. Then I bursted out laughing uncontrollably followed by a deep feeling of gratitude. What happened next really through me off though because I had never experienced it. I saw energy. Very similar to incense smoke. Energy was traveling in front of me. It was also coming off my left hand. This breathing technique is truly something special!!!

Condolences reflection, in my experience we cycle through chakras. I find that when I am in root chakra i cry alot during breathing. As cycle up the emotions differ, so if you better sooner then society expects dont feel badly. If anything be elated that your ancestors are with assisting you on this journey! This is my truth in my reality.

I have been doing the exercises according to this particular WH video for years now and as long as I do it without fail, I do not fall sick AT ALL but if for whatever reason I stop for a week or so, then it’s a slow retreat to the bad old days. Many thanks WH for your selflessness.

I have vision like stuff after 6 rounds. Lot of face like contours mostly woman faces. I have seen a tunnel with somewhat bright light at the end where a black swan was sitting. Also I have seen mother bear with cubs, a wolf. So peaceful and it gives me so much energy. I am hoping this has something to do with dmt that is in our bodies. Any one else had vision like experiences?

My sons convinced me to start the Wim Hoff training. I changed i a different person: so strict in breathing every day, so strict and crazy about jumping into the cold lake with 16 degrees celsius....and I will stick to it day by day! I realized that everything in life is a matter of perspective and of positive attitude. Thank you a thousand times Wim!
