Welcome to TAKE A DEEP BREATH (TADB), here you will find a huge variety of Breathing Exercises for Health, Relaxation & Motivation. Here you will also find our dedicated breathing podcast (Breathcast), where you can watch interviews with the worlds top breathing experts • TAKE A DEEP BREATH
Safety Information:
Do not practice this breathwork during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions, should always consult a medical professional before starting breathwork. These breathing exercises are a guide only, you should always listen to your own body and not push yourself, if you feel unwell STOP. Never practice breathing exercises before or during diving, driving, swimming, taking a bath, or in any other circumstance where the loss of consciousness could result in bodily harm. Deep breathing may cause tingling sensations, a ringing in the ears, and/or light-headedness. These are normal responses and are no cause for alarm. If you faint, however, you have gone too far and should take it more slowly next time.

believe me, I'm a nature-boy and I don't get fooled by esoteric stuff any more. But I believe that the WHMethod breathing is clearing up the body's old energy blockades. This must be the reason one often cries in an earlier stage of practicing WHM breathing... because our soul is freeing up! ...Healing often is being accompanied by tears.. :) all the love, from Switzerland

I’m so glad to see so many people on the path. You don’t realize that there are people all around you pondering the universe for themselves. Doing so just as people like Aristotle and Tesla once did. We are the universe and we have come to life to experience ourselves. For so long, however, those who have realized this have remained in the minority. I implore you: spread these ideas and these realizations with the people around you. We must all do our part to push humanity forward. Cheers fellas :)

Came across wonderful WIm 2 days ago. Thank you for this brilliant piece - really helpful. As a heavy smoker my first time saw me reach about 45seconds. Then I tried lying down and timed myself - it went from 1m to 1m30 - 1min 45. Then I tried yesterday and it hovered around 1.45 to 2 min. This morning lying in bed I was totally relaxed and did 2min 45 then 3 min 15 then 3min 45 then 4min - Extraordinary. Absolutely extraordinary. It is somehow easier lying down for sure. It also makes me not want to smoke which for me is amazing!

Doing this breathwork daily for more than a half of year (1 or 2 times) increased quality of life and deepness of perception in a way i didnt expected it. I finally found the job I like without fear of loosing it) it made my attention more efficient which caused me to make things faster and with less efforts) i even started writing a book, which seemed impossible before) I feel myself able to do things, not just speak about them) try it, it wont bite)

This has changed my life. Thank you so much to Wim and everyone who brings awareness to breathwork!!! We have SO much control yet we’ve been conditioned to feel helpless. We spend our lives trying to control the external, when in reality, when we take control of our internal environment, everything falls into place. We connect with our true nature, which is one of power, peace, and love. In the words of Wim: “All the love, all the power.” ❤️💪

Wow, this happens every time, roughly in this order: • My head becomes warm • My fingers become tingly • My forearms become tingly • Rest of body becomes warm and light feeling During the exhalation period: • Heart beat starts off very rapid then goes down quickly • Heart beat drops to around 50bpm • Focus increase • Vision changes, my white ceiling pulses an orange hue • Feel the pulse of every heartbeat throughout body After 2 mins and inhalation • Heartbeat up to around 70bpm • Feeling of strength floods body • Head pulsing strongly • Focus intensifies • Ears begin to ring Finally - a sense of calm, strength, focus, and well being slowly come and fizzle away. What a profound exercise, so happy to have found Hof’s method.

At first it was difficult but as I kept going I felt more centered, and I began to feel myself go inwards and it got easier the more indepth I got within, because I let my breath continue to carry me. My ears began to ring and gently and help me transition inwards to my mind and I became full of bliss and relaxation. Thank you!!! I decided to start healing my mind and body with deep breathing. I just hurt my knee and strained some ligaments and tendons and I know the lymphatic system is crucial for everything. Sending all my love and spreading bliss. Namaste

First time doing this particular video! I love it! I've done the 6 round jungle sound it has been my go-to but I really enjoyed this 5 round! I'm a 65 year old woman and have been doing the breath exercises when possible because I take care of my grandchildren and have a little time I try to do it at least three times a week I would like to do it everyday! Making me feel healthy and very active thank you for everything

Thanks Wim, I managed to get to 1.15 with my first attempts; noticing a lot of calm and less anger; I intuitively feel this is going to be amazing for me and I don't usually make much effort, but with this I am doing it first thing every morning. Also, physical exercise seems to be easier! My goal is to get off the one blood pressure tablet I take every day.

At first I had great difficulty at the end of the round, holding breath 2 minutes. Now, before the rounds, I begin with the very last piece. I inhale and hold the breath 15 seconds. Now the first round is as efficient as the last.
