The 769HP makes sense on the 3.8 Pulley. I have the exact same setup on my Boss 302. Made 812HP with the 3.6 pulley.

Sweet Boss 302! The most capable most potential engine out of Gen-1 -Gen3 Coyote, 07-14 GT500, 16-20 GT350, and probably Matches the potential of Predator engine in the current GT500s. I doubt this trend won’t continue with the Gen4 Coyote and Dark Horse engines. With the prices stabilizing, this is the mustang to get for the money.

Probably the reason why it makes more power is cause in the tune they probably put more timing into it cause the Boss can take more power. 😊

@@DerekBaranProductionsthe Boss had cams with a little more duration and more lift on the exhaust valve. It also had stiffer valve springs(to accommodate the higher lift and 7400 rpm red line). It also had CNC ported cylinder heads, so the motor flows a little better than a regular gen 1 coyote, which means it should make more power than the gen 1, even with exactly the same boost pressure/setup The valve springs and forged rods were also carried over to the gen 2 & 3 coyote

The Heads are a different stringer Aluminum, CNC Ported heads, Different valves, Different cams, timing components, Pcm, two different tunes Red/Black key etc

I bought my boss new in July of 2011 it was one of the first ones out it's still naturally aspirated but that might change soon... Just clicked over 18,000 miles I have the American racing headers with the boss side exhaust mid pipe

I have a 13’ in Race Red. Also 18k miles. I Fn love this car! Love N/A motors, but seriously thinking about boost come spring time. It’s a sunny day car only. What are you pondering? I like twin screw or roots best for low end punch, but that’s also the more expensive option and dealing with heat. I’m not into turbos. Centrifugal is great, but I don’t like the way they sound.

Does he have the red key? Boss has a special tune with idle lope for the red key hp tuners can give you a custom tune for the red key idle as well. I believe Lund can do it

The e85 tune makes about 120 wheel hp over the 93 tune with the sane pulley. Hpr tested the theory on a couple different cars.

@@DerekBaranProductions my Boss 302 is tuned and running catless mid pipes. It’s 444hp stock and mine is now 470 hp N/A. I am thinking about putting a blower on mine too. Mine also has a Watts link and lower 1 inch which makes this a handling beast! Best damn S197 I’ve owned and I’ve had 2 others.
