Really all it takes is the willingness to take risks, make mistakes, identify the mistakes you make and learn from them. Not everyone is destined to be able to draw or paint realism, that takes its own special kind of talent, but anyone can produce art that they will be happy with if they take the time to practice and if they have the courage to produce less than perfect while they learn.....its when you allow yourself to get frustrated at the start of the process that you fail.....and usually its because you quit. Ive worked with soooo many different mediums, every time I start with a new one the process is the same. Even for experienced creators, new mediums take practice and trust me, when Im working with something new I sometimes produce stuff I wouldnt let my mother see let alone anyone else........but it always gets better. It helps not to compare yourself with the talents of others.
@igamse

@@Bitmongol if you give it enough time you will aquire that skill, have you seen jaza's super old drawings ? It was very nrml one like any "unartistic" person, but the more he tried the more he got better and better. He's so used to it that even if he tries something new he would do great from the beginning. Like for my case I don't need to learn a new programming language to use it, I'm so use to it that I can read the a code example once then use that language to do basic stuff.

As a new painter, I’m slowly learning how to work the ways of water color and acrylics. And these type of videos help me out with what I can practice on and how much wider I can go with my art. I love how much he loves art. That probably sounds really weird, but I just find it so wonderful that he's not only entertaining and teaching viewers about art, but he makes sure that he, too, is learning in the process and having a heck ton of fun doing it. *applause for the lovely art man*

I was like: “...😕 I kinda like how it was before you started the watercolour” and I stuck to that all the way through, especially when you added the yellow. Then when you cut to the before and after I found that I much preferred the final product. Thanks for teaching me something.
