And they gave him Accelerator and Rin Okumura's Japanese voice (Nobuhiko Okamoto) :3 In the case of the latter, he basically didn't do shit for him, while Kyle from Tales of Destiny has Yukio's Japanese voice (Jun Fukuyama)

They made an OVA out of the game (animated series) which shows the main events, so a lot gets skipped. Next to that they made these special episodes where each character acts as an "actor" who're hired to act in the main OVA anime. Hence you sometimes see "the director will cut your lines" or "I barely have any screen time =("-references. These special episodes are made purely for comedy.
