The 31st Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival honors veteran actress Talia Shire with a Lifetime Achievement Award and this tribute reel, produced by Gordon K. Smith, Nov.4, 2016. It was followed by the screening of DREAMLAND, costarring Beverly D'Angelo and directed by her son Robert Schwartzman.

Talia is still a great actress. She was great in every movie she was in. In Rocky 2 I thought that it was very emotional when she was in the hospital in acoma. I was only 16 years old watching it in the theater. She sure was great in Rocky movies. At times I wished she could have been my Mom. It would have been great to have her as a mother. She was and still is a great actress. Thanks 😊.

I fell in love with her when I was a teenager, when I saw Rocky for rhe first time. Whenever I watch it, I fall in love with her all over again. Her dark brown eyes are off the chart gorgeous 😍 to me

The ice rink Scene from Rocky was a re shoot of a sort . It was shot at an ice rink in Santa Monica , CA . That building is Fred Seagal .

Thanks for your post. I mistakenly had thought that was the Rizzo Rink in South Philly. However, I just looked that up. The Rizzo Rink opened in 1979, a couple years after Rocky was filmed.

Actually the character of Adrian was originally written as a blonde hair blue eyed Irish girl but Stallone changed his mind and went with an Italian character once she auditioned for the role. Also originally Paulie and Adrain were not brother and sister.
