My family; parents, grandparents; were stoic mourners. In all of the funeral services I've attended, there was never any loud weeping or outbursts. The first time I experienced a more vigorous funeral service, I was quite shocked, and frightened. I was seventeen. Now, I think it depends on the manner of death, as to how people will mourn.

It's a difficult subject. Man simply cannot conceive of ceasing to exist.

I always think of elephants when I think of mourning, the sad images of the herd surrounding one of their family that has passed. Eventually though they move on and I think that's the important bit, not that they forget their loved one but you have to remember to move forwards. Probably not that helpful at all to some people but something I thought I would share. I just wanted to say also that I find your videos so interesting. I feel that I lack the intelligence of some of the discussion points but you explain things in a great way, I think your qualities as a professor really shine through and thank your for the time you put into creating these videos.
