One thing I really liked was with Gwildor , his dialog with Man-At-Arms gave a sly nod that the movie or something like the live action movie happened in their timeline. There was a while that we all were disappointed it wasnt like the cartoon but now I love that they did something different and its this snapshot into goofy 80's movie on a budget cinema culture.

Loved the interview and the show. I gave both Revelation and Revolution a "love this" on Netflix. Thank you for making the shows and continuing MOTU. It's nice to see the story moving forward and the growth of the characters and lore.

They both really knocked their roles onscreen out of the park. I loved all the '87 movie nods; in fact, I convinced Gary Goddard he had to watch it. I genuinely loved Revelation, and this was an exciting, fulfilling follow-up.

We're definitely getting another season. They don't show cliffhanger endings just for poops and giggles. The show runners have a clear road map for where they want the series to go and how they want it to end. Just like toys, these things take years to develop. We will know when the series is over, it ain't over yet!

@@flybrewsterfly thank you Orko! I'm starting my second viewing! I also ordered the Orko and Gwildor 2 pack, and I don't collect Masterverse! One big question I have is, why couldn't Gwildor just use the Cosmic Key to fix everything?

Love that you got Orko and Gwildor together for this interview! I thought Orko and Evil-Lyn's dynamic in Revelation was great, but I really loved Orko and Gwildor's dialogue. And the nods to the 1987 film, including Gwildor's home, and in some of the lines he spoke, was brilliant! 40-year MOTU fan here who loved both series. I've watched Revelation probably 30 times, and have already watched Revolution 4 times. It's awesome that it's doing so well! Season 3 please!!! (And Despara!?!?!?... LOVE IT!!!!!)

Revolution, like Revelation was amazing! And listening to Ted Biaselli talking. You can hear his love for the brand. he knows his lore! He IS a fan! His explanation for Revelation and Teela was exactly correct. It’s why fans who knows their MOTU History loved Revelation. And the talk of Revolution is just as amazing. Also the talk of the Fourth Tower, The Havok Tower. Makes me question. Since it’s clear it had a Ram Head as it’s base. Much like the palace in Zalesia (spelling?) home of The Faceless One and The Ram Stone in the MYP 200X series. Makes me wonder if they will use that as base for the 4th Tower. And makes me wonder if they will use The Faceless One if we get a Season 3. Which I hope. Loved the new look for He-Man. Cause it’s new. But closer to where he could go into a New Adventures type of look. Cause he now has the long hair. Love to see if we see Keldor again use a new form of that Tech Organic Virus to recreate him into Skeletor.

Disagree only on "understanding" angst-ridden Teela in that it was a bad take to have her snap at Randor, specifically. He lost his son, and was quite unsavory. The recat did her a lot of favors in character rehab. And the Sorceress and her magic being tethered to the castle wasn't originally a sacrifice or choice. It was lore and a rule firmly established in FilMation canon. If the rule was changed being the spiritual successor but not directly tied to the old show, it should have been clearer, because all we've been told is that this continues the story of the old show. Rule 1 of storytelling: establish your world and set your rules. You lose the audience when you contradict the rules you establish. I don't hate Teela being beyond the castle, but the reasoning could make better stated.

Please leave Hordak dead!!! The stakes are not there the more you kill and bring back characters. That’s one of the things I super loved about Revelation was all the dead characters. I really thought the Blast Attack explosion killed Whip Lash, but I guess not, but that is fine. But keep dead characters dead, other than of course He-Man, Orko, and Skeletor.

If the show is picked up for a third season, I wonder if will it be Shatner or Hamill playing Keldor? On Duncan being Teelas biological father, the thing that bothers me about it is that in filmation there is an episode where it is made clear that Teelas biological father died in war and there is a post episode message from Teela about Duncan being an adoptive father and how special those people are who adopt and raise children as their own. Not a huge deal but something that made it not sit right me. I loveTeddy, I've watched a lot of his interviews over the last few months and loved 'Revolution' but he is still trying to explain why 'Revelation' was good. 'Revelation' wasn't good. It was a disaster. What worries me now listening to him as he attempts to justify the decision in 'Revelation' is that the creators will revert back to their natural impulses which is what lead to 'Revelation' and all the good work and good will won back with 'Revolution' will be for not. The Jesus analogy he uses doesn't work unless he thinks the best parts of the NewTestament are when Jesus has died and everyone is left talking about how great he was. 'Revelation' just wasn't any fun. It was a slog. 'Revolution' was a ton of fun which made you feel pumped up after watching it.

I disagree. Revelation was not a disaster. I'm a MOTU fan of 40 years and I absolutely loved Revelation (and Revolution too for that matter). Plenty of fans agree with me. It obviously did well enough to green light a second season, which is also doing extremely well. The only "disaster" was a bad faith rage campaign by disingenuous channels, many of whom are more culture warriors than MOTU fans. I found many of their arguments to hold little to no merit. This last part here is just my opinion, but those rage bait channels are a bunch of clowns who can choke on their fish. (See what I did there?)

@@MOTU_CTR This is the kind of discourse that worries me. I'm a MOTUfan of 40 years as well and It's fine to like 'Revelation' but I think it's a mistake to think that it was just a bunch of trolls and a vocal minority that didn't like it. I'd say the majority of fans had pretty major issues with it which were reflected in its viewing figures which can't be argued away. 'Revolution' appears to be performing much better, especially compared to the second half of 'Revelation' when many had already tuned out.

Jay, I want to add that I have unsubscribed to some channels that I really enjoy, due to their continued promotion of an individual that used bigoted remarks and slurs in their video. This individual was also causing a disturbance in your live chat on an episode you had with Mega Jay as a cohost. I think that hate and bigotry, even "accidental", should be challenged at all levels of society. If that guy had made a video to reflect on the error, and danger, of his language used, I would've commended him. I still have not seen any such content from him, or the channels that promote him as a member of the toy community they say they serve. If nobody had championed his rhetoric in your chat, I would dismiss him as the hack he is, but that wasn't the case. One person voicing support for such bigotry is one too many. I wish you and your family the best, and hope to never see that person brought up in your channel again. Thank you

Hey Eric, it was definitely challenged when that individual was banned from the channel and chat when it was happening. Many of those people that you mentioned in the toytuber community challenged him directly. It was from that challenging that the offending video was taken down by that individual and he made an apology post on his community page. I agree that a zero tolerance for that behavior is necessary and I hope that person has grown and learned from it. I did unban him from being able to comment on posts because he pulled the video and posted an apology. There won’t be any guest spots or highlighting for that person coming up on this channel, but I do believe people should have a chance to learn and grow from their mistakes, when they take actions on the offending behavior.

Edit: yo, sorry, but I don't see any apology on his posts, and from the stuff his folks are saying and him liking it, naw, I don't think he's learned a lesson. Thanks anyways, I really mean it, for replying. And thanks for challenging that crap during the livestream. By no means do I think you should be wasting your time monitoring him, please don't think I'm putting that on you. Love your channel, take care. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to reply. I agree about reformative justice, and I truly hope that individual has sincerely learned a valuable lesson. With the landscape of the US being as it is, with legislators attacking minority communities by way of vindictive legal means, the comments that were said and the way members in the chat ate it all up really appalled me. I appreciated you taking a stand in real time, it's not always easy for content creators to do that. I will look for the apology, and perhaps join in on the other channels once I've cooled down. Thanks again, sir, I wish you and your family all the best.
