I was thinking both, ones that do and don't end up as contract rifles , some like euro contract PDWs only a small amount are released to the public so most people never knew it was offered to begin with, history and background how LMT won each contract would be something very cool to hear. @@lmtdefense3927

Should hop in on the short stroke ar18 style piston gang. The future is the ability to shoot with a suppressed, folded stock, rifle. I dont want to see a golden standard Rifle maker like LMT fall, like the Colt has. More 300Blk barrel options like a piston 5.5 and 6.7 in barrel because it was made for shorty suppression. And its odd how you still don't put a forward assist on bigger bore platform.. Even SOCOM wanted it on their MRGG-S and A style rifles. Maybe SOCOM doesn't shoot enough to know what they're talking about... I'm only a meanie because i want you to succeed and not fade into irrelevance. I have faith in ya'll. Still one of the best lowers on the market.

The piston system utilizes gas much differently than the DI. Compared to other piston systems, the LMT is already one of the smoother shooting, combat gassed units. When it comes to an AR platform and shooting suppressed, you either need to invest in a low blow back can, or learn to love the smell of carbon. That is really the nature of the weapon system.

If going with the 16" DI barrel, how well will it work with a SF RC2 7.62 suppressor? Will the buffer system need to be tweaked?

Please do not try to adjust for increased gas pressure with the buffer system. That is just a band-aide to the issue and you wont be completely satisfied. Try a BRT gas tube if you feel the weapon is lacking something after shooting it in stock form with your suppressor.

Yes it is. The uppers and parts are all interchangeable. The only real difference is the inclusion of a full ambi bolt catch on the MARS-H.

Why should I buy LMT? So far, I've gotten two bad lowers and one bad barrel (y'all didn't finish reaming it out, so bullets were being pulled from their cases when unloading the chamber) from you. No apologies, no attempts to make it right (other than the barrel, which you did repair). Your QC is horrible.
