Great video, I never saw Crossroads on its original transmission apart from the late 80's episodes and the reboot in 2001 then 2003. I always remember my late Sister and Mother watching them and after seeing Nolly on ITVX I am eager to see these early shows thank you for this!

1st episode of Disc 2 might be of interest then. "Episode 1192 from November 1969 - Archie comes to an arrangement with Diane. Meg is confined to bed after being taken ill at Tessa’s wedding. Is her illness all it seems to be?"

Great video. Are there many newly discovered episodes between 1970 - 1976 that weren't on the 45th Anniversary box set? I'd love to see more Amy Turtle.

Hi Chris mine came the other day and amazingly Iv'e yet to open it. I will be taking all the discs out of the cases and transfer into a Zipper case. Less fiddly and potential to damage a disc. The photo book I will place in a plastic wallet file. I look forward to the replacement disc via Kimberley.

Jim, that's a really good idea to keep the discs safe! Never even thought of that. Enjoy the box when you open it!

Just keep the empty cases on your shelf for display. . I had to do it with my Cheers set

That's a great idea. I got 'Jake & The Fatman', which was a 1980s/early 1990s American show and it came in one case with lovely compartments of soft material and see-through plastic. I've had too many discs damaged by hard plastic so I'll follow your suggestion for the Crossroads set.

Great unboxing Chris. Thank you for this. I watched the live stream, missed the first five minutes though. It's a shame it was only streaming in 360p so it was hard to make things out but thankfully, the video recording is at full 1080p so I'll have to re-watch your unboxing in glorious HD. Was you set delivered by DHL by any chance like most people have been saying?

Looks a bit disappointing. If you compare the box, artwork, design etc to the 45th anniversary one.
