Yesterday, HBO released a new official teaser video to promote House of the Dragon's upcoming season. House of the Dragon's lead actors explain why their side deserves to sit on the Iron Throne. HBO will officially release House of the Dragon Season 2 this summer, on June 16th, 2024.

Huh? Viserys didn't "more or less" say that he wanted his son Aegon on the throne, he was talking about Aegon the Conqueror and his prophecy, which Alicent didn't know anything about and so *gravely* misunderstood what he was saying (as did some viewers, clearly)!

I'm hoping to get another trailer before we get the season. I'm thinking in a few weeks from now (maybe in the first half of May👀) we will get a full official 3minute trailer for season 2 with some new shots showing the north and other stuff. The hype train has arrived and I'm here for it!

There is no reason to believe that Rhaenyra and Damon would have run the Kingdom to the ground. Otto was not concerned about the Kingdom, he was only concerned about not losing his power. The Green’s were not altruistic players in this game.

So grateful to George R.R. Martin, Warner Bros, and all those involved in the making of this show for persevering through the Strikes last year and finishing their work when it could have so easily been delayed or shut down along with the rest of Hollywood. It's almost as if they were filming in Westeros the entire time, carefully crafting this masterpiece with otherworldly skill and bringing it to life with dragon flame.

I still think season 3 will be the best. We’re gonna see the blacks take kings landing in the finale of season 2. Then season 3 will be Rhaneyras downfall from the beginning and ending with season 3 finale being the Falls of Kings Landing..before that tho we’ll get the battle above the gods eye, both tumbletown battles , Ser Thorne giving his life for Maelor, the butchers ball, Cregan beginning his march and the rise of the Shepherd and his followers.

Aemond will probably act as if it was intentional, except in private with his mom the Queen and to the mother of two of his kids, Helaena. Yes I believe only Maelor is Aegon's child, making what happens next far more traumatic for the state of affairs.

Why would Lucery’s had being eaten alive coming? They were kids when the incident of the eye happened, and Lucery’s was defending himself and his brother. The entire fight got out of hand, but Lucery’s was not a vicious kid set out to take the eyes of people. Of course Aemond has the right to be upset, but he also needs to take responsibility in the part he played that day. For sure Lucerys didn’t deserved or had his death coming to him.

Honestly, this debate is not hard and the real issue is just greed and foolish patriarchy. Rhaenyra was the right heir, the fact that her children were bastards is irrelevant, specially because she had children with Damon. We don’t know if later on she would have chosen her first born with Damon as heir, and just made sure her firstborns were well taken care of, made lords or something fancy. The greens were in defiance of the King and usurpers, manipulators from the get go with their greed as their moving force.
