Even the players seem t hate it; coincidence that som r 'suddenly (accidentally on purpose)', injured just t seemingly get out of it; it breaks up/messes with the consistency of winning mentality, like Arsenal were on a potentially longstanding run b4 it but ,may struggle from now on which may affect their chances etc... I hate it2; las season dreadful Uefa league was the case in point I were thinking of.

I reckon Arsenal might do City on Sunday. Everyone's going for the safe result for City to turn over Arsenal but they've done that for the past decade surely it has to come to an end sometime and I think with the way Arsenal is playing at the moment it might be on Sunday. Obviously City will be strong favourites but don't count out Arsenal.

@@applenuts not convincingly, a deflected goal from Trossard's shot took the game to penalties in the community shield and then its usually luck onwho wins penalties, in the game at the Emirates it was a boring 0-0 game up until another deflected shot this time from Martinelli, you ain't winning at the Etihad, you've got a really poor record against City in the last 13 premier league games against them.

It's a cliche but still true ...the performance in the game is far more important than the final result ...its quite possible the team that dominates failing to win like it was at Anfiled between City and Liverpool. I never saw Klopp more chuffed after a game even after a resounding win.

for once agbonlahor makes a good point simple maths tells you that nine matches to play after this but I think if arsenal wins at the etihad thier confidence will be sky high for the rest of the season surely that would make them favourites for the league🤔 however as a liverpool fan I am hoping it is a draw and we go top for now 😁

The game is done - it’s been slowly rotting over the years, but this season’s “on and off the field shenanigans” are the icing on the cake for many I don’t blame Klopp for walking from great money and contract extensions - there’s more to life than the BS surrounding the game, whether it’s corrupt actors, incompetent PGMOL or idiot pundits being controversial for the sake of it
