Great for revision! For some of us there's no metro nearby....so will need to substitute a estaçāo de comboio (the train station) or a paragem (de autocarro) (the bus) stop.

7:20 No Brasil você pode dizer “que horas são”. Isso soa como “oração”. Alguns engraçadinhos podem responder dizendo “Ave Maria”, como referência à “Oração”. Se acontecer, não ligue, logo depois dizem a hora certa.

I'm fascinated by this video. Rarely someone does portuguese pronunciation. Of course there are some details to work on but you are almost Portuguese. Many congratulations on your work. You have a fan. Finally someone knows that "João" is pronouced like "awn" and not "Aw". Very good indeed. Keep up the good job! Anything you need, feel free to ask!

Muito obrigada! For a waiter's attention you can simply say "Desculpe" or even "Por favor". "Com licença" is not used in this context. :)

Frases muito úteis! Just a couple of small changes: banheiro should be casa de banho, and cardápio, even though it is correct, it's not so popular - so I recommend "carta" or "menu" :)

Thanks for the video. I question the approach of memorising phrases though. Not sure how they help when you can't keep the conversation going. You get this a lot with tourists, they open the conversation, sounding super proficient in Portuguese but when you reply to them, all you see in a blank look on their faces.
