This month's soap challenge is an extra challenge held because of the coronavirus. Amy organised this on the last minute and our group has voted to revisit this challenge that has been done previously. In this video, I will show you the two attempts I have made for this challenge. Unfortunately, I did not get to enter this challenge because I lost track of the dates and got logged out of my email account on my phone and never got the reminder emails. However, I will still show you how I made these babies.

Make sure you use a slow tracing recipe for this technique as you need quite a bit of time to play with batter. Make sure you choose a fragrance oil/essential oil blend that doesn't affect your trace too!
The colourants I used in this video were:
Socks/Mitten design:
White- Titanium Dioxide
Green - Spirulina
Pink - Pink Clay
Blue - Blue Clay
Purple - Pink and Blue Clay
Horrendous design:
White- Titanium Dioxide
Black - Activated charcoal
Pink - Pink Clay
Purple - Pink and Blue Clay
Essential oil blend: Lavender, Orange and Tea tree

My first attempt has been an absolute fail as you can see in the video because of wrong calculations of the soap content for the mould and everything just didn't work out!
For the second attempt, the one I have intended to submit turned out quite cute. I have decided to keep the soap shape this way to add interest to the design. Everybody says it's cute and there was a bit of an argument whether it is socks or mittens. What do you think? Please let me know what you think it is in the comments below!
