Leo and crew need a bottle of Balderdash for the next Duchess of Desire commercial, and to keep in that beautiful liquor cabinet on the boat. Great job by all on the capstan. American perseverance and ingenuity at its best.

I guess they do not cast in Germany or South Africa??? It has nothing to do with America and your comment has nothing to do with patriotism. BTW: These guys look like a bunch of old English buddies.

I was thinking the same, I hope he does. Remember the welder( sorry, name? ) who did these incredible fuel tanks and introduced himself, mimicking Leo, as a boat builder and NOT a sailor They were comments that maybe Leo could fix that.

There is a famous quote from John Steinbeck's "Cannery Row"; "Why don't you just give up." It is very informative to watch you keep going after each problem pour. I don't call them a failed pour because they weren't failures, they were part of the process it took to gain the knowledge to accomplish to final results. This is a good lesson in perseverance. Thanks

I followed the hole proces from Belgium (one of the marvels of internet), and loved every minute of that, despite the ugly comments from the desktop heros. I'm a follower and Patreon member of Tally Ho from the first minute it started, and try to follow every inch of the puzzle on craftsmanship that goes into this build. I wish that despite these young old guys😜, there was more opportunity and financial means for young people to follow an apprenticeship to these old crafts. I would help discover and make a lot of youngsters more happy, than to be forced into an academic career. And I think that this is one of the fails in our western society that learning a trade is not encouraged any more. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of what it takes to make something, that on the first side seems easy and evident, but requires years of know how.

Years ago I was the machinist of a large wood boat building in NH. I made most patterns of all the cast bronze fittings and then of course machined them to fit and even installed most all on the boat. It was a life changing job. I’ve owned and sailed many boats now and have fallen in love with Leo’s project. THANK YOU ALL for helping represent the good old USA in helping Leo pull off a masterpiece of reconstruction.❤️
