Hello everyone!
Time for something different, so here’s a lil’ snare shoot out of all of the Tama Snare drums that I own.

I have the 14x5.5 version with 10 Lugs a side. It’s one of my favourite snares! Glad this version sounds just as good

This video is sick because of two points! A.) we get to hear it in a full production song (metal especially ) B.) by itself in a regular rhythm

crazy how well it sits in the mix at it's size. People are way too concerned about the myth that bigger snare = bigger tone

I'm always stuck between the high and mid tuning. Feel like that is the magic spot. Too high and it doesn't have enough body. Too low and it doesn't have the crack.

Use a different head to get body, evans dotted would work good on this one.

ARE YOU SELLING BASS DRUMS-CYMBALS, TOM TOMS here ????? If not, leave all that crap out and let us hear what you are demonstrating !!! THE SNARE !!!!!! All that other noise masks the subtleties, nuances, overtones, and real sound of THE SNARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
