Oh, that was really good to watch! I'm researching for my second Top Force build, won't be a kit, it'll be parts bought separately, hopefully quite high quality on it all. Very good point getting rid of that aluminium gear, could already see in the video it was worn already. I'm really puzzled about the TA-02 mention very often. Does the TA-02 share gear parts with the DF-01 chassis. Anyway, thanks for showing this, I'll probably be commenting on other videos along the way...

Glenn you need to get the plastic gear set for the ta02. This gets rid of the butter soft akloy gears. Once they wear they turn your Greece into grinding paste

Hi, not sure if you already answered this question elsewhere so apologies if you did. Did you have any issues with these speed gears in the Top Force? I noticed on the labelling it said the TA-02 was not to be used in the Top Force or Manta Ray. I am trying to decide if I want to oput it in my rere Top Force when I build it. Standard gearing is 74T , there should be a chart with the ratios in the gear pack

Just found the channel - gold stuff :) If you ran a 540 sized brushless instead of a 380 size then this car will fly I have a TT02b with the 540 size goolRC and it’s bonkers fast - easy 45mph

66/23 works best in old touring cars 4wd, keeps motor and speedy works better, but if you run thick marine grease you will find diffs run longer before clicking

HI, I use a very similar Amazon Brushless motor and Speed Controller combo with my Manta Ray in standard gearing. Using 3S 30C 11.1V 3000mAh battery and I get 42 MPH out of it :-)

Hi Glenn,the kit says I need Synthetic Rubber Cement to build the kit. Is that a Tamiya make or do you know where I can get it?.
