You put your thumb through the chassis just by merely holding it. I laugh every time that you have to actually do something, in the hobby, because when you say, to put a power move on a grub screw I can just see the Allen key the grub screw and whatever else was behind that grub screw totally getting stripped out and well essentially becoming a piece of broken trash. The only thing that would push that price even higher up would be a set of vintage Kyosho magnetic Mayhem 22 turn single wind 550s, and that old Futaba radio the attack the gray one or if you were lucky to find the white one with a pair of s148 servos. Lolol.

I got the same chassis, I live in the Milwaukee WI area and picked mine up from him since he lived in Kenosha . Back in the day I bought a ClodBuster and had lots of plans but it was only used a few times . I got the Sassy Chassis and what ever was the best duel motor speed control it was back in the day. The speed control is new in box still and it's been 20 plus years.

The Super Clod Came out nice. The old Sassy chassis looks sweet on there. I never used them I was a ESP guy, but wish I had. I got my kit last thursday. Gonna start it soon. Kinda sucks to hear the replacement parts won't be available. Oh well. I'm gonna pick up a super clod with the blue parts to rip around outside.

I use flush cutters and then take off any burr with an xacto knife. Takes extra time, but you only get to build each kit once. I have a black edition on the way, my first clodbuster! It'll look nice next to my lunchbox, landfreeder, fighting buggy, and monster beetle. The fighting buggy is very cool to build, almost completely aluminum and looks so realistic.

Pro-tip: get a set of Plato FLUSH cutters for dealing with the tree parts. No burrs. Nice build!

Looks awesome! Why did you put the screws in the top of the shocks around the other way? So the flange nuts don't mark the sassy chassis?

True flush cutters work better then diagonal cutters and are thinner to fit in tight spaces

If you use the pulse you can keep a lot of the heat out of your joints. Stainless likes the pulser. Looking forward to seeing that best run.

You heard of MCD RC vehicles that are fit scale you should get one of their 12 to 15 horsepower motors to run it

1/5 clod is badass only thing I dont like is the lower link mounts being on the bottom of the axles. they are snag points. link mounts need to be mounted on the side of the axle. and then you can bend the link and make them High clearance links.

The 5th scale can't really be called a clodbuster. it has a single motor on a central gear case. Still a cool setup, just not a true clod

It's no different than a regular cloud Buster body they disabled it to blackley dish and because the bodies black is no different than the Stark one I guarantee buy a stock 1 from tower hobbies and you can build the black edition
