My new girlfriend and I haven’t been dating a long time but it feels SO right for both and we’ve been moving faster than either of us has is the past.
She’s a wonderful Mexican woman who was born and raised in Querétaro.

We can have more than one person we have a deep connection with in our lifetimes..obviously finding them is the tricky part but just bc it didnt work out with one person doesnt mean you wont have a deep connection with someone else at a different moment in time

I thought I was the only one where in the US, sometimes I think in Spanish, and I start speaking Spanish. I was married to a Colombian lady! ( being nice, because we're divorce now) but since I am single now I don't do that anymore. I was in Venezuela for five yrs, and two in Colombia.

But $ doesn't do anything for me, although a girl who needs me to pay 100% of the time I cut loose eventually

Well, I do understand where you're coming from, as women north of the border are sometimes kind of spoiled and overly entitled. Buuuut, latinamerican women are sometimes submissive due to their culture, which seldom is the case north of the border. This is obviously just a tendency as this depends a lot on the individual 's psyche. Also, this might be because as a mexican I'm looking for women fitting what I find lacking back home, the same way you prefer Mexican women as an American. Saludos

Una cosa es la mentalidad de la mujer mexicana promedio y otra cosa muy distinta es la mentalidad ultra empoderada por influencia gringa (cosa que no digo que sea mala) de las chicanas y mujeres de ascendencia latinoamericana en los US, así como de las mujeres de clase alta en Latinoamérica. @@drg8034 : Cada quien sus gustos y preferencias, pero una mujer femenina, educada, inteligente y echada para adelante además de hermosa es siempre una buena elección, y todavía no menciono lo cariñosas que son. Pero cada quien baja las escaleras como puede. Las gringas son muy gritonas y la mayoría están bien locas y usan drogas. Algunos Mexicanos o Latinos lo que los atrae es el color de piel para que sus hijos salgan blanquitos. Conozco muchos Mexicanos en Gringotitlán casados con gringas que viven en "trailas" y barrios bajos pero prefieren éso a una de su pueblo.

Todas con las que he salido eran mujeres educadas y decididas, pero claro, eso sí vas y las buscas en una escuela, en una librería o en algún curso de artes o actividad cultural. Si vas a ligar en un bar o un antro obviamente es más probable que te encuentres a una drogadicta. Como dices tú, depende de muchas cosas

Great advice. My husband and I always have respect and are very affectionate with each other. People often think we are dating or having an affair. Been together for 16 years, married for 14 years, and have a 6-year-old child.

Yep.same in Guatemala...they all SAY they are looking for a gringo and there is a reason....I wont state it here but I live in Guatemala and most of our friends are mixed couples, American men with Latina women. some are solid relationships and others are very volatile..everything changes once they are married expectations of the women of the men rise exponentially.

Well, he wanted to get married and have kids and settle down so I guess it doesn’t matter who it’s with as long as they want it too. Its easy to feel like you’re in love and you’ll be compatible when its in the infatuation stage. She got her green card and he got his wifey. I guess as long as they are all happy more power to them.

@@hermitwatcher8997 it's very true in a lot of cases but in this case I doubt she would want to move to the US and start from scratch and leave her family. Sometimes the women in Mexico want to find American men because they are more open minded and have a higher level of education. In other words this woman can have a hard time finding a man that can overcome her being an educated woman and have intelligence. Extreme Machismo may push some educated women away from local men there.

Hey Jordan, I saw you both today in Jardines, just across from the Italian coffee shop. I live in La Joya, 3 blocks from the Dentist's office you mentioned in your video. I got to know your channel for your Vegas videos and it's funny and a little bit strange that now you came to live here so close to where I live, eat, stroll in the same places, etc. I would never imagine seeing you in my neighborhood someday. May has a feminine, beautiful, and peaceful nature about her something mostly missing from Western women today. Met my Mexican girlfriend while motorbiking around Latin America as I was going back to Austin Texas I stop off Durango Mexico and saw this girl in the square I could not keep my eyes off her, I walk past her and she looked at me and smiled and the world just disappeared. Stupidly I kept walking for about 2 minutes but I decided I could not miss this opportunity so I walked back and she was still there, I pick up the courage to speak to her in my very poor Spanish, luckily she spoke much better English. She is now my wife of 15 years, I cannot tell you how much she has added to my life including our 3 children, I'm so glad I turned back that day and I hope you guys build a fantastic life together.

I do EXACTLY the same thing with English and Spanish. I'm in Spain now and making videos for friends in the US, and sometimes when I'm narrating without even realizing it I switch to Spanish. And when I'm speaking Spanish with someone and they ask me what a particular word is in English, I too often forget the English word! I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only one who does that!

He is giving her very likely the WRONG idea of the life he would lead as a married man supporting children...he wants children...as a Latina likely she does too. She likely is loving the restaurant dates...just the life she dreamed of..notice how she loves to dress up etc. It wont be long before she wants him to spiff up his wardrobe for a better "presentation"...he does not dress to impress and she does, many Latinas do. Will he balk? How are they going to have all these courting dates when they have children? Answer, they WONT. His business, Tangerine Travels, supports the restaurant reviews etc. Continuing this lifestyle will be impossible with an infant and toddler in tow...has he thought this out? Has she? The number one complaint of Latina women with American husbands is he isnt romantic anymore, he doesnt take me to restaurants, dancing, on trips anymore life...we dont get dressed up and go anywhere anymore...I miss it, I am not DEAD. Life with him just isnt fun anymore and it was so much fun when we were dating...he takes me for granted and now he is so BORING. I know, both because I have lived in Latin America for 20 yrs with many mixed couples as friends and the women TALK, boy do they talk about their husbands shortcomings. Great pickup on her dress vs his. I think the kids could still work as middle class Mexicans often have a live in maid/nanny. Her demeanor tells me she grew up middle class or better and I’m sure her mom would love to have grandchildren.

@@timlee5260 Yes but it has to be a live in maid for them to keep up this lifestyle and at least in Guatemala whichnismpoorer than Mexico that tradition is going away...live in kaids. There are still daytime maids available so she can still work if they marry, may be she has a mother or other relative to watch the kids when they " date" ....I hope so if he marries a Latina! Just remember, if you marry a Mexican you marry her whole family, been married to my Mexican wife and family for fourteen years, sometimes it's a little over the top about how close they are but I don't regret it at all.
