Tanzania’s SGR is both electric and diesel powered so that in case electricity becomes an issue, they can quickly and secretly fill up some diesel and keep going 😅 Kenya’s SGR is diesel powered with the provision of being electrified anytime! So I don’t think there’s any difference between the two! 🤷🏿♂️

Tanzanian sgr is passenger dedicated......kenya is cargo dedicated but also passenger.....i think kenya sgr will be more viable since it's cargo dedicated plus kenya trades more then Tanzania

Soon Tanzania will receive 1400 cargo wagons ready to deliver cargo bound to Rwanda , Uganda , DRC and Burundi from Daressalaam port and come back with nickel , cobalt and copper to Daressalaam port ready for export
