Hot Wheels is way better. lol. I guess, that’s why I don’t understand modemakers who soup up their Hot Wheels. I’ve done it before being that I’m a master at building model cars, but building a Tamiya is where skills come into play. What I’m getting at is why should I try to make a Hot Wheels look better when an okay amount of these cars are made by better manufacturers? It’s a lot of work to make a Hot Wheels look excellent. I’ll do it as a fun little project, but unless your Jakarta Diecast, you’re just wheel swapping and slapping decals on them to make them look “real”. I think I need to do a video on the HKS skyline from Mini GT versus the Hot Wheels Premium.

You’ll still get Hot Wheels diehards saying that they wouldn’t spend that kind of money. That’s fine, but it’s when they say it’s subjective, that’s bs. Either it’s better or it’s not. Nobody can say with a straight face that the Hot Wheels one is better than the Tarmac. The Tarmac just plain IS better. Hot Wheels Premium is marketed for adult collectors. While I do collect them, I have even more that are tons better than any of the crap Mattel makes. That’s not snobbery. Besides, I have transports that are 50 bucks and are to scale unlike Hot Wheels.

I guess what goes for Hot Wheels is the nostalgia and I also could say its simplicity. I agree 100% with you, as I also collect both, Tarmac is way better and tbh for the same price as some premium models, not even RLC.

The Hot Wheels are a basic Silvia casting that they re-use

Hot Wheels usually just reuse their model, they don't really care about accuracy. Especially the Fast & Furious series, just look at the Mona Lisa S15. Do I need to say anything else about it? 😂

THe Tarmac wings in every way. The only thing I think they need to improve on is the wheels. The Super Advans look kind of booty, lol. Other than the the car is 99% perfect.
