TARS Testing Action

13 жыл бұрынHere are a few clips from some multiplayer DCS Black Shark and DCS A-10C sessions, testing the Tactical Aviation Radio System (TARS). Footage includes internal alpha testing and also a few tests of the current public beta. We were running Black Shark 1.02 and DCS: A-10 Beta 4. Highlights include:
- Banshee's gun run of epicness.
- TARS radio communications on the guard channel after ejection (Sunset Sierra mission).
- Headspace meets back up with his own mk82 in midair.
- Hojo tries to land with no gear.

@Focha There is a mic click effect. AM radio transmissions can step on each other IRL although there is a heterodyning effect with that. FM transmissions cannot due to the nature of how FM works. These effects may appear in a future TARS.

@colboyhell TrackIR, a head tracking system. You wear a clip or sensors on your hat or headset that move your in game head based on your Real Life head movements. It's basically a requirement for high end flight sims. :)

Radio effects are added in real time by TARS while the game runs. None of the radio effects in the video that you're seeing have been edited in post-process.

@BTKCuk TARS comes with a manual (and there's one on the site). However, if you're having trouble setting up, feel free to suggest additional content. I listen to my users.

Great stuff. Definately gives the sim a new dimension. Do you know of a set-up guide for multiplayer/TARS?

Yeah landing with no gear on the secondary runway lol. Can't wait till a-10 is out of beta. I bought it and tried it but will wait for the final because its damn difficult enough to learn the systems even without bugs :p

You should switch your jammer to SAM looks like you were in air mode.

We hear a "boom" at 6:58. Is that the one from the missile hitting the shilka ?

I read that this mod was specifically for two flight sims. Will this mod work for any game? I'm looking for something of a cross between ACRE and TARS for use with MWO.

well i want to download the latest tars version , do i really need to have the exact same version of ts 3 , cuz i have a higher versiona and it wont install proper
