The ghost is from the Master level tutorial TAS.
4 rows of machines down, 1 left to go. I'll get on to finishing the last row once I go through my usual long period of doing other things / procrastination :)
Played at 15% speed / frame by frame with a controller and savestates were used.

It's like they put Big Blue and Port Town together from the Jack Cup to fuse it to one track for the Joker Cup.

One question: why would Mighty Hurricaine be good at this one? I remember its A boost stat, but that would be the only reason? Because I also kind of got that its body was not good.

I just chose a different machine than the usual Blood Hawk / Twin Noritta just for fun and for something different, which I can afford to do given this is more of an entertainment-focused TAS. The staff ghost on this track actually uses Mighty Hurricane but I forgot if I was making a subtle reference to that at the time or if it's just a coincidence. Also, easy mistake to make, but Mighty *Typhoon* is the one with the A booster; Mighty Hurricane's stats are EBB.

Is driving backwards actually faster?

Nope, backwards is definitely slower. The only reason the backwards run is faster than the ghost (which drives forwards) is because the backwards run uses better strats. The Mute City 1 and Port Town 1 TASes have backwards DTDs in them that are faster, but they are the very rare exceptions to the rule.

@@jagg2zero So can you still effectively do the AGG glitch and side attack where you climb up in the air and keep gaining speed, facing either forward or backwards?

Yep! You can even see me doing it a couple of times in this TAS as well, like at 0:48-0:51 where I dip below 1000km/h before climbing to nearly 1400km/h before starting the DTD.
