Contra is a classic action game. Equipped with heavy artillery and infinite ammo, you must save the world by defeating the organization Red Falcon.
This time, Mars608 ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/M... ) and aiqiyou ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/a... ) improve the previous TAS ( tasvideos.org/4504M ) by 0.44 seconds, thanks to better optimisation.

The encode features a secret message at the end that's only present in the Japanese version, triggered by holding Start+Select from the moment the island starts exploding until the very end of the credits. Translation of the message: "Foolish earthlings. You actually thought THIS annihilated Red Falcon? While we lost our earth frontline base, we are already making our next move. Red Falcon will be eternally immortal....."

I had no idea that was hidden, thanks for pointing that + translating the message! Just a little Seizure warning at 10:57 and at the very end of the video but that's all.

It's an emulator so it doesn't need to have the NTSC or PAL scan lines in it. Optionally some turn it on to keep the look more realistic to the original.
