Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth is a WiiWare game that was released in 2009 by Konami. It is a remake of the Game Boy game (tasvideos.org/1612M.html), starring Christopher Belmont, seeking to defeat Dracula.
zggzdydp (tasvideos.org/Zggzdydp.html), using various tricks, defeats Count Dracula in record time.

The movement in Castlevania TAS' is always the most satisfying for me to watch out of all other games. Most of the time it's pretty funny too.

love the sound track.. its a perfect mix of edgy sega snyth with SUPER HI QUALITY UNMUFFLED VOCALS that are crisp.. that stage 3 sound is perfect.

With this Sunset Riders-y soundtrack, I was expecting him to pull out a shotgun at anytime or strike a pose when defeating a boss.

It seems like this game (and the Contra game by M2) take good advantage of the YM2151 chip, that's why it sounds like Sunset Riders-ish, and also other Konami games from the era.

@@Lightgod87 I could never be too sure about which one it was. It was obviously done using one of Yamaha's old FM synthesis chips, but I couldn't quite tell if it was OPM (YM2151) or OPN2 (YM2612). Sure, they have their differences, but they can produce many sounds that are either very similar or exactly the same.

Seems to be a pretty straight-forward bug. Dying on the same frame that you hit a loading zone puts the player in an immortal state. This isn't entirely uncommon in other games. Basically developers don't account for every single possibility of multiple events happening at the same.

the only reused sprites I see are Fleaman sprite from Rondo of blood and Ectoplasm, Final sword from AoS on stage 3 boss, Skull lord and Quetzalcoatl from SotN and some Sotn/AoS tilesets but that's it not much is copy and pasted as you exaggerate if anything, the DS games have more reused enemy sprites from Rondo of blood and SotN

Cool speed run. This game however...... Getting real tired of this. This is the WII , and it can't incorporate the articulation and control that super Nintendo had for Castlevania? And yeah.....Why TF do all these games have Richter in them? This looks like a rondo of blood remake in every way. The gameplay is worse than Castlevania IV, and it's utterly abandoned it's original story and the Lord that made this the most epic game series in the first place.

1. the protagonist of this game is Christopher Belmont, not Richter 2. the reason why it doesn't play like IV is because it's a remake of a gameboy game
