------------
In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

If you think about it, Sally's POV footage was the sequel to her one night stand with the watercooler. She ended up pregnant and gave birth to a fully grown Alex Horne

This is perhaps the greatest episode of Taskmaster in terms of raucous laughs per second. So many fantastic and memorable moments. The sausage delivery system, Aisling's adorable mum, Bob's unfortunate bum problem, bubbly fuck, spoony neeson and the God damn bandana guy. This is happiness distilled into 45 minutes

When I saw the title, I was *certain* it would be the name of a character in one of Bob's stories. "Oh there was Hams Brickhouse, Sparrow McCoy, and of course Spoony Neeson was there." Sally is high key insane and I love it. God, I don't understand how British people say yogurt.

Quite a nice episode, this one. I’m especially a fan of this new “Bandana Guy” character, and got quite the shock at the end when he was revealed to have been Alex all along! Another aspect that really pleased me was the exceptional individual task assigned to Aisling.

Series 5 is for me, still the one with a lot of emotional roller coster; by the contestants, their tasks and even the taskmaster himself with Alex. Ranging from heartbreakingly Mark Watson, Nish Kumar's self sabotage phase to Sally Phillips absurd and disturbing yet amazing way of doing her tasks. Love series 5.

At first I thought that Sally was the Kerry Godliman and Bob the Rhod Gilbert of this series, mainly due to their competitiveness with one another, ability to think outside of the box while completing most tasks and confidence... But now I see is the other way around, Sally is the Rhod Gilbert of this series, she's constantly using Alex for tasks in the most chaotic Rhod way. Absolutely crazy

For the balancing Alex challenge, I feel like the way to have done it without worrying about Alex's weight was while it was standing at a balanced height at the start, find a heavy/sturdy object to match the distance from the ground to the bottom of the non-Alex side, slide it under, so the crate sits on your object. Then you can put in as many heavy items in the container as you like, so long as it doesn't destroy your base object, then bam! Alex sits on the other side, no movement since both sides of the Seesaw are trapped and then you have a balanced Alex!
@spencer4679
