In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

I don't know the business end of putting the whole show on KZfaq, but I'll say its 100% the reason Taskmaster is the first serialized show I've watch season after season of in years (decades, practically) because there's simple, practical access to it. I don't know if its theoretically way less profitable or not, but I am a testament to a viewer you've only brought in through the ways you share this show with others.

@SillySpaceMonkey
@SillySpaceMonkey 15 күн бұрын
@jayrose2933 that's the truly insane part. Lots of companies are experimenting with throwing up old seasons of shows, but even then they're usually trickle-fed to keep constant engagement. These are brand new episodes when they post, and it doesn't come at the cost of having half the library of old seasons licensed out somewhere that would prohibit them leaving them up anywhere for free. KZfaqrs complain about Shorts giving "empty growth" because no one is doomscrolling shorts looking to dive into a channel, so the subscriber boost can hurt them because a lower percent of their subscribers engage with their content. Taskmaster has done the opposite, maximizing for "full growth" by making everything for the end user truly better than could be expected for the nothing I'm paying them. I'm sure it shows in their growth metrics, but I hope someone reads all the appreciation and makes sure the appropriate people feel it.

@@Corvus-fw2hr the liquid isn’t normal. I expect they just used boxed custard for cheapness and for that slomo shot. It is different in the uk though. It’s a general word for what in America might be called an egg tart. In my experience it’s usually a sweet egg custard in a crust, but occasionally it’s savory. I’ve never had a flan with a crust in America and it’s always sweet

Skimming the comments, I'm seeing way more people complaining about haters than actual haters. Personally, I'm fine with this season so far, and it has moments that are really funny, but I think this is the first one I'm probably not going to rewatch. I also don't expect to see a lot from this season in future clip compilation videos.
