I love popping my own popcorn 🍿at home because I can control the amount of butter and salt. My favorite way to flavor it is my infusing garlic in the butter and sprinkling parmesan cheese on it.

Made the chocolate pudding tonight on a whim. Now I find myself paralyzed by the thought of choosing boxed pudding mix over the ingredients I've had in my pantry. MIND BLOWN- so easy so fast [albeit messy in my small kitchen] definitely worth it to make. Pro tip- the mixture takes a few minutes to heat up, I kept thinking mine was getting lumpy, when it was actually the pudding magic working. Once the mixture starts to the simmer I whisked a few times then took it immediately off the heat.

You should really factor in butter with the budget because the average person doesn’t have butter in a draw from take out places....if we do it’s not the amount you used in the video esp with the popcorn.

At that point you just use real butter. Buy cheaper packs in bulk, freeze the extra. That's what my family does.

I agree. The only time I had packets of butter was the once in a while trip to a diner where they provided a plate of them and were smaller than what he gets. You know the square ones with the tip ejector in the center?
