If this win introduced one person to Bonnie who'd never heard her before, that's one great thing. Bonnie's been a part of my life since the 70's. I can't imagine it without her.

People have to understand that grand sales and views on KZfaq and radio airplay and downloads do not necessarily translate to talent. Bonnie Raitt absolutely deserved that award. And shame on every radio station that didn’t play or hasn’t played this great emotionally moving recording. The legend lives on...

She is, has been and always will be great! And, John Price- got me through life many times-remember seeing him live at the Horseshoe inCola, SC, lying on a quilt nursing my baby girl, far away from people and in the shade-heaven. Now, my daughter is IN heaven. She would have donated all she could if those cancer's and th meds hadn't kept her from doing it. Great and so special to follow Ms. Olivia's story-wonderful and not an easy task, to say the least! A little boy was killed by car while riding his bike to school one morning-I saw right after it happened-and his Mother's dear friend centime a full page copy of what age and kind of person had received what from him-do to his Mother's generosity. I want to hear my daughter's heartbeat again. So glad she won ingot th chance to explain it. Am happy the went back to her folk guitar-she has such a gift, such wisdom, and I'm grateful for her and for John and for Olivia and for this all. Jenna Rose's Mother, Terri

Was searching for a song I thought was called Just Like That and thought I’d have a listen to this one when it showed up. This song just feels right. When I first heard it I thought it was something from at least 30 years ago - the quality of her voice and the storytelling in the lyrics alongside the composition…. Can’t get passed it. At first just thought it was pretty and wasn’t really listening to the lyrics just the tune, decided I wanted to have a go singing it and as I read the words… well… I have cried every time I heard the words ‘it was your son’s heart that saved me, and a life you gave us both’. What beauty human beings can create from pain and hope.

Great song, I was singing in my head before I heard this newer song, ' let's give 'em something to talk about, a little mystery to figure out...' Bonnie has a really bad assed voice and writes great songs, she plays her guitar, she's all real and a real winner, she looked over to her friend, in disbelief , searching her friend's face as if to say ' did I hear that right?' Bonnie was shocked but she should not be, she's that great!

Raitt is too modest. Nick Of Time is a classic album. No one should have been surprised by that work winning Album Of The Year. And again Raitt did it with limited airplay, although sales were strong before the nomination. Just because artists are over a certain age, it doesn’t mean they are any less talented or obsolete. Young kids need to expand their horizons. There are many more incredible artists out there than what’s on the radio. Unfortunately these kids who are Program Directors of outlets don’t educate their listeners that in most cases, the past was the best when it came to music.
