Tasty Chinese Potato Prawns Roast | Koorka Chemmeen Ularthu
Ingredients
Prawns - 1kg
Chinese potato - 1 /2 kg
Shallots - 19 to 20 nos
Green chilli - 1 or 2 nos
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
Method
Then peel the Chinese potato and keep it aside.
Wash them thoroughly, drain them, and set them aside.
Then cut it into small cubes and set it aside.
Heat water in a pan
Add turmeric powder and salt and mix them well.

Now add cleaned, fresh prawns.
Add the chopped chinese potatoes and mix them well.
Cover and cook them well.
Remove the lid and check whether the Chinese potatoes and prawns are well cooked or not.
Once it is well cooked, remove it from the fire and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds, allowing them to sputter.
Then add the shallots, green chilies and curry leaves
Saute them well for a few minutes.
Then add some salt and mix them well.
Add turmeric powder and red chilli flakes .
Saute them well.
Add cooked chinese potato and prawns mix .
Saute them well.
Cover and fry for a few minutes.
Remove the lid and saute them well.
Remove from fire and keep aside
Serve the tasty Chinese potato and prawns fry with meals
