Kestral is better . We can deploy twice the number of Kestral than Stryker at same cost & most of that money wil go to Indian companies. We just dont want good weapons but in good numbers too since we have such a vast Western & Northern borders where Enemy is ready to take advantage of any weakness. But we will as always import Foreign weapon.

Still very few kestrel inducted by army 😂😂. They will make a fake report that kestrel lack this & that and will buy stryker, and some uniform men are also like that.

Look we can compare them after buying and improve Kestrel , by integrating acquired knowledge from striker, and make striker a benchmark for Kestrel to beat . By opinion on airforce is to procure 4 squadrons of f-35 , and keep working on Amca , f-35 can provide the necessary deterrent to China and Pakistan and also act as a benchmark for Amca , we can improve mark 2 Amca by benchmarking it with best western plane available ( f- 22 is not available for purchasing, f-35 has to do with). We can adapt fifth gen aircraft before going indigenous route, South Korea thus has an advantage when developing 5th gen aircraft as they already operate the best 5th gen aircraft available, thus could do comparison, and improve on the design to make it actually comparable to f 35 by its block 2 variant

Instead of comparing indian weapons with others, it is better for indians mass produce whatever weapons they can develop in large numbers and in the shortest time as indians had wasted a lot time in developing their own weapons systems as compared to china

No. Each and every machinery or fire arm or from projectiles to war head..... Everything of us version is way way more powerful and long lasting. Even Indian made rifles don't stand against us. Stryker comes with better firepower. However it is twice the cost of Kestrel. Tata is a new entrant in the market for production of APCs. I think both should be put to use by the Indian forces and evaluated for engine performance, reliability etc. But an indigenous APC with indegenously developed guns is preferable. In times of war the USA cannot be relied upon to supply the spares or ammunition without interruption. Even Pakistan is likely to have the same Stryker APC.

Tata Kestrel ko Stryker ke jaise non amphibious lekin additional safety standard ke sath aur Mahindra ke version ko amphibious vehicle ke rup mein jaroorat ke hisab se produce Kiya jana chahiye. Engine and Chassis should be same. Say no to Stryker.

Stryker is far far superior. Its battle proven. But for India , we must buy our indigenous weapons. That's how technology is developed. But again Army generals gets their money cuts from imports. And they'll import. End of story.

Kestrel must also be upgraded with kamikaze drone launchers as a special feature. Which even US striker or even Russian APVs or any others don't posses . Then this will be purchased by many small countries.

Chupchap se Kestral ya Mahindra lo. Faltu ka foreign weapons le kar paise barbaad karne se koi matlab nahi hai. dono lagbhag same hai. . Are yaar Tank round se ye Anti-Tank missile se attack hoga to Kestral ho ya Stryker dono hi khatam honge, to stryker leke koi matlab nahi. China ye weapons ki quality kaisi hai koi nahi janta, but china ke sheer number of weapons se darte hain bade bade desh. Aisi choti cheezen joki India bana sakta hai, usko bhi humlog Import karna chahte hain. Fir Fighter jet ka kya hi hoga.

Stryker is a overpriced non sense. No need to buy them, its better to improve kestrel as per indian terrain and needs we should also develop some 6x6 such vehicles like pars 6x6 with specific role off infantry fire supoort.
