Spending 20 lakhs on a car and we have to cruise between 70 to 80 also we have to switch off AC to get more range🤭 EV's are only for the city atleast for the time being.

Tata Tiago EV medium range is 19 kw. 19 units per charge. Outside charging cost 30 per unit. At home 10 per unit. Actual Range is 150 kms for 19 units. Home charge = rupees 1.26 per km. Out side charge =rupees 3.8 per km. Petrol = ₹ 5.5 ( @ 18 km/ litre of petrol)please correct if I am wrong.

Government must take certain steps to push EV adaptation. In highways minimum 100kW should be charging speed. Cars(atleast these Mid size SUVs, normal SUVs) must support at least 100kW and only those cars must receive full subsidy. Fast Charging cost is too high for a 50kW. In highways and expressways only 100kW and above chargers should be allowed. After few years we must change battery which is heavy prize thus battery cost will take away all those maintenance cost we save. In addition to this, charging price is also very high. So charging prize should be low. EVs for now is practical only within city limits, cost efficient only when we charge in our home charger, best if we have rooftop solar panel installed.

Hello Sir, EV is best. Issues: Battery replacement very high cost 50 to 80% over all car cost after 4 to 5 years we need to replace..required on owner need to pay 5 to 6 lacks from hand. No value for car resale. Hybrid: much better than ev as per my opinion. If company pays 80 to 90% of battery replacement it worth. If company pays 50% also not worth for owner and second hand car buyers also. This issue will comes to after 5 yeras

Driving at 80kms in highways esp all the Chennai to Kodai will be hectic and more time consuming including charging break if no other vehicle is not accommodated. EV is not the future, Hydrogen is going to be the future already Toyota has commenced the job. Thanks for the video.

neenga solrathu patha 8 hrs travel 4hrs charging polaye. 64% charging ku near by 800 Rs so 0-100 % ku aprox 1250 - 1300 Rs. so that 13ltr petrol ⛽️. normaly 20km milage vehicles na kuda 260km range in petrol vehicle. nama ev vandi koduthathu 210 to 220km engayo othaikuthe sir.

Super. Almost cost difference is not much. Birla has made a detailed review. If Birla makes a cost table it may give a clear picture of EV cost per km vs Pertol. Only home charging is cheap and outside charging comes to 30 per unit giving 7 km per unit? Birla sir please make a cost per km table.

EV cost per km is 4 rupees based on outside vendor charging rate of Rs. 30. Please correct if I am wrong. The formula is (Battery capacity x cost of charge per unit )/ Actual real life range.

Sir, at thindivanam it showed 364 km range and at trichy you mentioned (by mistake)as it showed 326 km (at thindivanam). And it gave only 225km range for 96% charge. So its a difference of almost 145km... looks like its a risk to go for an ev as just a single car owner 20:31

Example : if you are working in Chennai and your home town is in and around 180 km.. so you can plan for EV Trip we can plan rental car... Also if you and your wife is working in Chennai and different locations then these car really helps.. Instead of living in main location that too rental is around 20 k we can plan like chengalpet and live like good with this ev and low house rental
