at this point the only thing holding back tata is their is their after sales service , the service centers are just not upto the mark I have a tigor and recently had an accident, the amount of weeks i had to wait for parts to come to the service center was a nightmare and when they told me to collect the car the paint job was not upto the mark and the bumper was of the wrong variant and the passenger side headlight has fogging issues now its only 6 months I am just disappointed i am just worried what happens after the 3 year warranty its like they sell the car and forget about when they get the money sry for the rant. I have seen much better response from "patri ki dukan" hope this comment makes sense to whoever is reading it Thank you. punch looks like a decent offering but thinking about the after sales oof and PD as done an excellent job again

We need to see Ten Hut (Rohan) more often. His artistic reviews made what PowerDrift is today. Reviews by Cyrus are just like other 100 reviewers out there.

This is just perfect for someone looking to buy their first small car. Although, they should have provided rear AC vents at least as an option. It's not 2015 anymore. It's actually a shame, Tata's current passenger car line-up has all these great cars, but they still don't work on improving their abysmal after sales experience.

Nice review. Two things I wanted to point out; the Punch's off road capabilities with the Traction Pro mode was not shown in the video as it seems to be one of the USP's of this vehicle and secondly, I disagree with Cyrus on the diesel option. A torquey diesel motor with the off road capabilities of the Punch could have been a better combination IMHO, plus Tata are known for their diesel cars (although they are trying to get out of that image). Waiting for a more detailed review.

Tata Punch EV. I can't get my head anywhere in this video but this part. That's the perfect car I'd buy with my eyes closed!

Boss Ignis has 4 cylinder, lighter and has more power also.. Ground clearance almost same! It also has roof rails, wheel claddings etc ! So Tata punch can't be said first Mirco SUV in India.. Moreover it has 3 cylinders naturally aspirated engine and is heavier, Ignis climbs any terrain with easee 🙂🙂

This is July 2024 and everything that this guy had said turned out to be true: 1) Tata has knocked the daylights out of the competition and Punch remains in top 3 (if not at no. 1) in most months of the year now 2) Tata Punch has cannibalized its own elder siblings. Nexon is no longer the no. 1 car in India, it has slipped down to no. 10 now. Altroz and Tiago are not even in top 15 and Tigor is nowhere to be found even in top 25 cars of the month 3) Tata has launched Punch.ev which feels well powered and greatly priced. Currently the best and most affordable EV (keeping all the features in mind) 😂

Does TATA punch base variant(Pure) has central locking, I mean Does it have all four doors lock from inside option .. no lever inside at driver door through which by pushing down, we can lock all the 4 doors , I don't see that option here.

0:44 definition of SUV is definitely evolving, just backwards.

Tata punch is not just about the acceleration punch, but it is also about the base variant beginning from 500,000+ bucks as there is an intense price war raging on between Tata and Mahindta with Mahindra's launch of XUV700. If turbo is installed or Nexon EV powertrain is put inside it, the cost increases and then there is no point in having a model in this segment since it won't meet the pricepoint anymore in a pricepoint sensitive market. It can do 160+kmph in decent time even without the turbo ND most buyers would hardly get to exploit its top speed in a country where speed limit is 120 kmph. There is no end to dream, ideals and yearn for perfect but then your "perfect" car has to be financially viable to be able to win the price war and yet earn some profit- the moto experts urging for more can not be faulted as asking for is basic human instinct but if they won't have to bear financial responsibility of their "perfect" car tanking in the market because of its high pricing.

This is first time ever PD is appreciating Tata. For how much ever the effort was put earlier by the manufacturer, PD always used to not to advertise or highlights the positive (Like they do for Koreans). Anyway, good content!

3 cylinder petrol no no. punch ev 250 km range 👊👊. wrong pricing even in petrol, infact none of these segment cars including new celerio value for money now. be it chip shortage, bs6 norms or GST whatsoever, prices are really steep not worth the buck 💸💸.

Global NCAP ratings document shows crash test weight as 1318 kgs. And car curb weight is 1000-1035kgs. What is the reason for difference in 300kg(30% extra weight)?? For other cars ncap crash test weight is 10-15% extra only.

I still feel the first Micro SUV will still be the Firs Freestyle. It still is a better handler, pretty close on fuel economy, more comfortable seats, engine is amazing, steering feedback is spot on. The only n only thing that is falls short on is the boot space. Freestyle still happens to be the best bet in this segment.
