Barkha seems to misinterpret the word liberal. Why should the liberal opinion mean that a person should be allowed to eat any meat he wants? On the contrary, the liberal should stand for the right of the animal to live not the right of the human to eat it. So the liberal should ban any kind of animal slaughter.... Is that not what is happening with PETA? Dietary freedom does not exist in the USA for example... I do not believe one can eat Horses and Dogs in the US... or at least it is not socially acceptable..
