The new Taurus GX4 Carry wit 15 round capacity vs the Springfield Hellcat Pro also with 15 round capacity. The GX4 Carry price varies from $450 to $500. The Hellcat Pro starts around $600 to $650. Both are great options but the question is, what one is best for you?

Avid shooting enthusiast, RO etc. Never owned a Taurus in my life. Nothing against them, just never bought one. Later a longtime friend and owner of a LGS called me over and asked me what I thought of the new GX4. As soon as I held it, I loved it. Called up 4 friends from my club and said, we got to meet, bring 250 rounds of mix ammo. We met and ran 1,000 rds through the gun, then went home and bought one. Have never looked back thousands of rounds later. Just a terrific, well made, highly reliable firearm.

I work at a large gun shop range in Conroe, TX. Our GM started carrying that same GX4 and I was shocked. He's not limited in carry choices. I picked up the little one as a pocket option, popped in a Glock tritium front sight. It hasn't replaced my 365 pocket gun but I consider it a great budget option.

A Taurus has never let me down. Got a G2C and GX4. Both fire with every pull. I like the single double action of my g2c

I own both and have never grown more attached to any pistol like the GX4 Carry. Fits my hand like no other pistol. And been into guns & shooting since the late 70s.

I bought the Hellcat Pro and an original GX4 on the same day. Was later surprised the smaller Gx4 shot more accurately in rapid fire. I assume it's due to superior trigger, clearer sights, and more favorable grip angle.

Just a generic iwb leather holster until I can get a kydex holster for it.

I prefer the Hellcat Pro simply because it's slightly shorter grip is easier to conceal, and it's available with a manual safety, which I like on a carry gun.

I love my carry and xl. What stunk was the stock sights shot low when lines up to shoot point of aim. Changed to the lower ameriglow front sight on taurus website and now perfect. I will say they shot better and softer than both my hellcat and p320 which both might get sold because of it.

I've had both, and it's Tough to beat the price of the Taurus. Only complaint or downsideI have is the sights. The hellcat factory sights are much nicer.. but I can get two Tauruses for 1 hellcat

Exactly, also you can buy night sights for pretty cheap nowadays as a replacement.

The grip on the Taurus looks very similar to the TX22, I loved that grip, it looks like the TX22 grew up! Good comparison!

I have several X-Macros, have a HC Pro on the way and the smaller 365 & GX4. I may have to PU the carry GX4 now. Im adicted to adding, trying new options. Nice video comparison.

Both are good but I still can't get over how good the GX4 Carry is for the money. Good trigger, accurate, reliable. So far I've hade zero issues out of 750 rounds. Still testing until I get to 1,000 rounds but so far so good.

The sub 400 dollar GX4 carry is THE bargain in the CCW large micro category. It is not $350 gun, it's a $500 gun that you dont get pooched on because the segment is the hottest, and absolutely hold its own or bests some of the other Micro XL pistols that cost more in this segment. They did something with recoil on this frame design tbat makes it just awesome to run rounds through. I wouldnt trade mine for a Sig or Hellcat.

Im hoping taurus will sell the carry grip like sig does,i have a gx4 with lakeline upgrades and ported barrel but either lakeline make the ported barel for the carry or put my shoreter slide on the carry frame with the comp on a threaded barrel.

If I come across one at a good enough deal I will get one but then I'd get that dps or dmp or what ever it's called spring kit with tuna le springs that make em shoot softer. I got a decked out 365 and gx4 but I still wouldn't pass up a hellcat osp if I came across a deal on one and I'd get the recoil spring kit to help it out.

I have both and I like the Taurus better. I shoot the Taurus better and it's flatter shooting . I still can't believe the Carry was only 308.

Do the GX4 come with plastic guts in it? I want to get one but want to buy the lakeline steel guts before i buy it if so. What made me love this vid is you show the pros and cons of things that can go wrong as well. Or what can be annoying if certain things come to be a bother like the mag release and such.

Fin feather and fur has the GX4 carry on sale right now for 380 pre tax so im really contemplating getting it, but they also have the hellcat pro gear up package on sale for 549 pretax.

I like them both but the overall quality of the Hellcat Pro is better. Also holster support for the Hellcat Pro trumps the GX4 carry. And with the gear up promo it's a great time to get it!

Aeound my area These gx4 Carry’s run you about 435 before tax. I wouldn’t say budget honestly almost a $500 gun

Currently I'm using a inside the waistband DeSantis leather holster that's very thin until I can find a nice kydex holster for it.

It was with the original GX4. The Taurus resolved it very quickly.

The barrel length is infact 3.06” like the original GX4 and not 3.7”.

That's what I thought too when I googled it but then I looked it up on their website and it says 3.7.

It’s 3.7 in I have a gx4 the original with the 3.01 in barrel and the gx4carry has a much longer barrel
