The thing I like about Taurus is they USED to be a joke in the industry. Cheap unreliable range toys, at best, were their standard. Apparently one day, they took a good long hard look in the mirror and said "something has got to change". Then it did. Now they have the best 22lr pistols on the market south of the ultra high end stuff that 90% of people have no interest in buying. Their G series of 9mm's competes hard against all of the big bois. They turned the company around(very rare) and hopefully they have been rewarded for it.

I ordered mine from you guys and I absolutely love it. It’s an absolute blast with a griffin checkmate hd on it. It eats the cheap armscor ammo like a bullet buffet

I swapped out the non-safety frame from my OG TX with the TORO Gen 2 slide. No issues, 600 rounds in.

Patrick, please bring in some TX-22 Compacts without the threaded barrels. I want one but we can't legally buy any pistol with a threaded barrel here. Yeah yeah, I know, really goofy rule, but tis the law.

the new Toro model also has the bull barrel. that is why they can thread barrel without adapter like old model.

This is exactly the video I was looking for, as I just purchased the gen 2 TX22. You can't always go off of pictures posted with sale page, because sometimes they're wrong. Two questions: do all gen 2 txss come as Toro models, and also what suppressor is that in the video? Thank you.

The new release we know of comes in the non-TORO versions and T.O.R.O., which was not previously available (the competition model mounted optics directly to the barrel). For this video Patrick ran a KGM RF22 suppressor

I picked up mine about two weeks ago now and just had a range day with it. First rimfire pistol I own. That TORO optic mount is a RMSc footprint I believe for anyone curious. At least my RMSC red dot did mount on there fine but it does stick out on the sides of the slide a little bit. I did buy mine from PSA for $269. It was advertised as the TORO model. I love it. Can't wait to get a sup. for it.

gun is very good but the customer service is absolute ass, they wanted me to send in whole gun because apparently im not competent enough replace the frame pin and had to send in the whole gun for 2 months for a 20 cent roll pin, i said no and bought some stainless ones from galloway precision

RMSC, if you want to get a Holosun you have to get the K series so 407k or 507k. I called Taurus and i think the lady got confused. Because if you buy the TX22 comp you can switch adapters to fit a RMR footprint or RMSC or just a bunch of other optics. But on the TX22 toro its a RMSC footprint. I bought both a 507C and 507K and only the k fits. You would need a RMSC to RMR adapter to make the 507C fit and thats just ughhh at that point lol.

The compact version is not threaded but the flush magazines hold 13 rounds instead of 16.

@@KickLongFormI shouldn't be like that but Glock sucks at next gen gun "upgrades". I ended up buying a TX22 gen2 toro recently, seems like a really nice pistol for the price. Can't wait to shoot it as soon as our fireban is over.

@@KickLongForm If you want my 2 cents, go to an indoor gun range that will let you rent pistols, rent/shoot as many as you can. It can get pricey depending on the range but the knowledge you gain is priceless in the long run.
