The relationship between Fitz and the Fool has been the most beautiful, moving thing I've ever read! I cried so much throughout and did a lot of sighing when they weren't talking! How does she write so well?! Anyway, it's nice to see your enthusiasm, thanks for the vid! X

Great review! This is my favorite trilogy as well, and Fool's Fate is my all-time favorite fantasy book, but Nighteyes' death in Fool's Errand...😢 IMO it's perhaps the most beautifully written scene I have ever read 😭

Omg i'm living the tawny man trilogy a second time with this... All those feelings = the ones i had last year with those books. Damn I miss Fitz (and nighteye ! I think i cried most for his death... More than anyone else's. Seeing Fitz losing the only 'person' he has ever been close to -the fool really is different - it broke my heart. ) i want to re read the whole série now ! Aha...You know, I just cannot read another book for like a month after reading a book with Fitz. I just miss him and the fool (and nighteye) too much. I might be slightly crazy I guess... See I watched and got chills just watching these spoilers to fill me in. I'm still going to go back and read the tawny man trilogy when I get the $. I wish I had friends like you. I'm a passionate reader and I just can't find anyone who shares that passion.

I can finally safely watch this without being spoiled. It makes me so happy! I hated when Fitz and the Fool had the fight in Golden Fool, it was heartbreaking, but I loved how they finally got to talk about things out in Fool's Fate. I was a complete mess at the point where Fitz finds the fool to be dead, I love their relationship this just outdid it by compared to all the other books. Fitz losing Nighteyes was so saddening. I liked how he was still very much a part of Fitz through the whole trilogy though. Burrich dying was so hard to take. I was happy that at least Fitz and Burrich got reunited before though, and Fitz could actually understand how much Burrich loved him, and saw him as a son. Ok. I haven't watched this video to end yet, but I also would like to say how much, I also really love Lady Patience. When she found out Fitz was not in fact dead, I loved her reaction and also how much she cares for Fitz. I enjoyed Thick and his development through the trilogy, how he bonded with Nettle and also Dutiful. I love rooting for underdogs, so seeing his growth really made me happy. Even though he was always seen as the dumb, not so clever boy of the gang. He just showed that there was much more to his character several times during the books.

Well, you've convinced me. I'm going to start reading Robin Hobb's books. I went out today and bought 7 of them. Assassin's Apprentice, here I come!

Hello again! I finished the trilogy like an hour ago. I cried my ass off. So basically I agree with everything you said and I bet I agree with a lot of things you didn't say! That being in the skill pillar made me very curious as well and I was really sad by the end when I realized there weren't any answers. Hopefully we get to know more indeed. There is too much to say. I don't even know.

I special ordered a trilogy after reading the farseer and ship trilogy. Accidentally got the Fitz and the fool trilogy. Missed the tawny man. I feel empty trying to read fools assassin now.

I stopped reading robin hobb after farseer books. They were well written and gripped me but they were so damned depressing .it felt like the good guys never won. It put me in a depressed mood for days as i dwelled upon fitz' torture and pain and self-pity.
