Trvor has hosted shows before, including his own. Jo Koy is a very funny stand up comedian and was asked to host the show only weeks before the broadcast. Past hosts of shows, like Whoopie and Steve Martin, have said it is not an easy job and you need more time for preparation. You must "read the room". I think because Jo Koy was unfamiliar to most of the crowd and he had to rely on writers for his monologue, the jokes were hit and miss. He did his best, if Miss Swift is as kind and generous as everyone says, she should've just went along with it. Look at what the magacult is doing to her and Kelce. Way more harsher than a mild joke.

He did also made a joke about NFL too, I didn’t think that Golden Globe joke was offensive at all. It’s just Taylor maybe was not in a good mood or didn’t like the comedian. People should know that you should stop mentioning Taylor unless you know she likes you, cuz she can cancel you within a second without saying anything. That’s the power she has right now.
