I love y'all but have to disagree on the Chasen part. I GET that he didn't address the situation with Ed in the most mature way but he did apologize in the end; He was just cracking under pressure. Ed however, did not budge at all which sends off huge red flags to me - He just seems so entitled. Ed also has a complex because he is NOT as good looking as Chasen, and he chose to attack him by insulting his intelligence - Which to me is more disrespectful. Imagine being in a relationship with someone like that - Quick to belittle someone's intelligence without trying to understand their background. Idk, just seems narcissistic to me. I can't stand the Ed's and Bennett's of the world who feel like they're high and mighty just because they have a larger vocabulary or better education/jobs compared to a regular "joe schmoe"..who HAPPENS to be hot. Just my two cents.

my thoughts on this episode: 1. Ed is so annoying and his face makes me cringe - whenever the camera panned to him during the rose ceremony and when he was working out I was disgusted. Sorry to be mean but it’s true, he makes me uncomfortable. 2. Chasen literally tried to apologize and Ed decided to continue on with his childish antics. Like dude, give it a break 3. Say what you want about chasen but damn since when was it a crime to say “smokeshow” as a compliment? There are only so many words in the English language. If I called two different guys “handsome”, is that really such a big deal? Cmon girl please like even if you don't like it, it's not a huge deal, cut the guy some slack 4. BEN, DEMAR, BRENDAN, and IVAN all have my heart. I’m in love with all of them 5. Zac was really growing on me too - I love his chill confidence 6. This episode was SOOO cringey but I enjoyed it---I swear there were like 4 villians

My theory is that since Chasen was the little guy growing up and probably didn't get "hot" until his 20s, he may still have all the insecurities from being picked on when he was younger. So when other men start targeting him, he subconsciously gets anxious and paranoid and is mentally and emotionally put back into the age he was when he was picked on. That's why his comebacks seem a little immature and childish. And he feels like he has to stand up for himself so hard because he doesn't want to seem like a pushover anymore. Honestly, I have quite a bit of empathy for Chasen. I feel like he's just trying to navigate this large group of men without feeling like the butt of the joke or the outsider. Seems like he just wants acceptance.
