@@seriouslyitslegit3753 She did not do as well testifying during the second trial. She came across as very nervous and lacked the confidence she seemed to have the first time. Granted, the prosecutor did a much more thorough and in depth cross examination.

While I think the evidence against her is solid, the problem is that she has a lot of ‘sympathy’ factors in her favor. While I do think there was enough for the jury to convict her, it is still a mostly circumstantial case at best. Because there is no ‘smoking gun’, I believe some of these sympathy factors have the potential to sway at least a few of the jurors in her favor. For instance, she has been incarcerated without bail for over four years now. Meanwhile, the Adelsons have been walking around free this whole time. I personally think she will have even more of an advantage next time around, since she will not be sitting next to Sigfredo Garcia. My guess is that we are looking at another deadlocked jury at best (for the state), but that is just my opinion. We will see.

I agree and the waste of court time is horrible. The fact they did not expedite this and release her and follow through on the real culprits worries me. Make sure they follow the money right to the culprits. She is being treated like she hired them. She did not.
