hear me out mister TDT. at the end of this series when geared at reaching your goal you transition the character to trials and attempt to go flawless with random LFGs. I would love to see it

I think this series both proves and disproves your point actually. I would boil Destiny PVP to 3 dominant factors of skill. Build knowledge, Mechanical Skill, and Team Play. You need all 3 to perform well. A good build doesn't always mean meta either. It means a build that takes the preferred playstyle and amplifies it. Like Vex Mythoclast? Use the proper targeting and reload mods and pair it with Reign of Fire or Path of Burning Steps. That's what I mean. You can amplify your gameplay with a build alone. Destiny is still a buildcrafting-based RPG of sorts and those elements are in PVP. That said, your point is true alongside that. You still need to know how to aim well, position well, and use your abilities wisely. Alongside that, you need to know how to work with and communicate with your team. I don't think any of these can carry you alone tbh. If you handicap yourself *permanently* as in always using poorly rolled weapons, and never building into your playstyle, you will always feel the struggle you could just not have. If you have the best build, but you keep missing and positioning yourself wrong, you'll die even though your build will help your experience go smoother. And if you try to solo everyone, rely on your teammates always following your lead, and don't work with them, the first two skill sets won't help you when the other team has it and you don't. Only the highest echelons of mechanical skill may have levels of exception, but to the vast majority, I think you need to work on all 3.

Hey actually honest question, so the part when you put the tether on the warlock in the well, if the guy would have pushed is it actually possible to kill him in the well with the tether on him? Asking for real because I've done this before when my hunter throws a tether but the warlock is in a well so unless I have my super to help I just peace out. Am I wrong for doing this?

Really enjoying the reset series. I also understand adding modifiers to make things people do all the time more challenging and interesting like LobosJr Dark Souls challenge runs. But if you haven't done the thing successfully even once before, why add the additional modifiers? Next time with gambit gear only?

HEY TDT, so I know their haven’t been any recent vids about our crazy exotic idea recently, but me and my brother just came up with one that I think would be pretty interesting. So if you remember in destiny 1, their was an exotic class armor piece that literally did nothing but let you have another exotic on, well we wanted to do something like that but on steroids. We thought it should allow a different exotic on just like the classic did, but this one is an artifice armor piece. So that it would encourage people to actually put it on😅. But this is we’re it gets good. Sense it would be too broken to have two actual exotic armors that Apply abilities to effect gameplay, this would be purely cosmetic. The cosmetics to this would be as follows Hunters- a shroud of mist as a cloak Titans- a mark that is also a mist Warlock- sense it’s hard to just make a bond look misty, we thought this should apply a mist that looks like a pair of wings on the back. It could be modeled after orxy’s wings The initial goal of this armor was to shift interest for players that went flawless In trials to go after a bragging right item instead of farming other “weaker” players. This items would not break the game either, so win win. The way this would work would be to have different brackets in trials to help less experienced players receive rewards. 1st bracket- players that haven’t gone flawless 2nd bracket-players that have gone flawless once 3rd bracket- players that have gone flawless twice, and upon going flawless for a third time would receive an emblem as well as this unique armor as bragging rights. Players would fight against others in the same bracket going all the way up the ladder. As you climb brackets they get a reputation multiplier to encourage farming higher up instead of lower leveled players.

Like I know you have your rules but to help motivate you if you make to gold one, craft a weapon, any craft able weapon, but only one and you can only upgrade it in comp, no quick play no trials nothing just comp. But only if you want to

You don't need meta when you're playing average at best players due to SBMM. But contoller AA will only get you so far in Face It. The meta really only kicks in when you are exposed to higher levels of the game.

Im not a fan of Nuzlock. Youre already at a major handicap. I really enjoy watch you battle your way to the top using whatever drops you get. I just feel that Nuzlock puts you at too much of a handicap, and sullies the challenge. In terms of impact on the integrity and purpose of the challenge, its the other side of the coin that you pulling your favorite exotic would have.

I never meta. There are only two weapons that I pretty much never use: shotguns and fusions. I'm just not good with them. I have gotten lucky on rarest of occasions but mostly I just ban them from my loadout. Second least used would be snipers. As for exotics, I can't remember the last time I touched Tractor Cannon.

immortal is just the new recluse or nf. recluse was somewhat optainable but nf made great players even better. if you can go solo legend in comp with white gear a weapon like this just makes you a god. same as immortal. every lobby is swarming with this cancer. no skill. just swarming and spraying until everybody is dead. good job bungo
