Man ... last race was I think the hardest team choice so far this season! I was so lucky to jump on the MER train and drop FER for them and also avoid having to pick SAR. When LEC was a DNF and HAM (my DRS driver) finished up down the order I was expecting a really poor weekend - but seems like others were a lot worse. I feel for everyone over the last couple of weeks ... it's been carnage for some!! I've somehow ended up #5 on your league ... so I'll take the glory while I can 'cos it'll be all downhill from here, I'm sure!! 😁 As for Spain ... do we embrace FER again or stick with MER/MCL...? Have MER really turned a corner? As always ... I'll be glued to practice and praying that all sessions are sunny and dry!!

Driver of the day needs to go altogether. Its completely irrelevant to the strategy aspect. Maybe a metric based on most overtakes in the race gets dotd would be a better move? The DNF needs to be scaled. Driver error ending the race maybe like 12 points. Car failure 8 points. Then what happened to albon like 4 points or something. Getting minus 20 for being caught in a crash is definitely wrong

I'm looking to build team value and a points breakout. I think by choosing a MCL FER team build it pretty much guarantees a 'reasonable' return but I won't place in my league. What do you think of a 'driver first' approach and downgrade to AST and RB who both made Q3 and use the extra budget for a gaggle of tier B drivers?

Thanks Rob. Great video. Did you perhaps, together with other content creators, reached out officially to F1 Fantasy Development team with request to decrease DNF and DOTD from 20 and 10 to 10 and 5 respecrfully? Any official feedback from them?

The max team looks pretty good. I’m hoping though that Mercedes looks competitive to keep the game exciting.

Definitely not keen on selling "low" on bot of our FER assets either. I'm also of the mind to cash in on MERC price gain this week. Played the FF chip to lose Leclere for Russell. Lewis was at 2X. Leclere in his comments was very negative on the car performance. Didn't see any solutions being considered by the team.

If I use the Limitless chip, next week my old equipment will come back or will I be able to choose new equipment limited to my budget? I mention it to save the wildcard chip

In Canada, I had been really screwed over by Leclerc DRS Boost and Ferrari, now I’m thinking of the same constructors (McLaren and Ferrari), however I’m switching Leclerc with Verstappen and Tsunoda with Sargeant (yes I am taking a big risk with Red Bull possibly not performing and Sargeant crashing) I’m keeping Ricciardo because I think he’s a kind of cheaper midfield option and Hulkenburg for obvious reasons. Gasly imo is now like a #1 driver to have, he’s a cheap option and a pretty reliable driver with a history of finishing races and not making many mistakes. Thoughts on that?
