Tech Consultant Salary Breakdown: My Income and Spending Habits Revealed
In this video, I'll be sharing with you a detailed breakdown of my salary as a tech consultant, and how I spent my earnings. As a tech consultant, I've been able to earn a comfortable living, but I know that many people wonder what a consultant's salary really looks like in practice. That's why I decided to make this video to share my personal experience.
First, I'll give you an overview of what a tech consultant's job typically entails, and what kind of salary you can expect to earn in this field. Then, I'll dive into the specifics of my own income and spending habits, sharing details about my take-home pay, bonuses, and any other perks that come with my job.
But I don't just want to talk about the money I earn - I also want to share how I allocate my income and the different ways I use my money to support my lifestyle. From rent and bills to entertainment and travel, I'll break down exactly where my money goes each month and give you a sense of what it's like to live on a tech consultant's salary.
Whether you're considering a career in tech consulting or just curious about how people in this field make ends meet, I think you'll find this video informative and insightful. So, let's dive into my salary breakdown and see where the money goes!

Thank you for the video! Would you say with inflation that tech consultant salaries have increased? Also how often did you travel?

@@poketron592 I’m glad you enjoy it and thanks for watching! I would say it hasn’t increased too much for entry levels. I believe entry levels are still roughly $70-80K based on my network this year. I would say depends on projects but I used to travel one week every month (Mon-Thurs)

Im a tech consultant too planning to move to US and this video is exactly what I was looking for. For american standards you really manage your money well! Can I ask you what tool did you use to make this awesome viz chart? I have been looking for something like this for my personal finance monitoring! Also, I'd like to ask what's your strategy to monitor your cash flow and expenses... like, do you use a simple excel, or something else? Good video btw :)

Hey Keitas! I’m glad my video was helpful to you and thank you! I use something called sankeymatic chart for all the viz. As for personal finance, I like to use excel sheets to make it easier to categorize. Hope that helps!

Hey, I received the offer for the same job position. Can you tell me what technical skills did you need to know for the job?

First off congrats on the job offer! Always exciting! I would say it’ll depend on the project. As consultants, you want to be adaptable and a quick learner since you’ll be needing to pick up skills based on your projects in 1-2 weeks time. What this mean is that if your first project is Full Stack Web Dev, you might want to learn the framework that the client is using like react or angular or vue
