How to FIX Bootrec /Fixboot Access is Denied in Windows 10

In this video we'll take a look at how to fix the access is denied message, which you get when you type in bootrec /fixboot in command prompt. You'll normally encounter this error when trying to solve any startup problem and this is mainly due to issues with the disk partition, Boot Configuration Data or the boot manager.

Bootsect.exe updates the master boot code for hard disk partitions to switch between Bootmgr and NT Loader (NTLDR). You can use this tool to restore the boot sector on your computer.
The /nt60 part applies the master boot code that is compatible with Bootmgr to SYS, ALL, or a particular drive letter.
The ALL updates the master boot code on all partitions. The ALL option does not necessarily update the boot code for each volume. Instead, this option updates the boot code on volumes that can be used as Windows boot volumes, which excludes any dynamic volumes that are not connected with an underlying disk partition.

I am a user of Ao mei partition assistant and I can tell this issue is easy to solve by repairing the MBR.

I tried to run chkdsf but it was not wokring and I have also aomei partition assistant to repair mbr to fix this issue.

Actually some methods are just not working, the most effective way is to create the bootable disk and repair with Ao mei disk tool.

Don't know how to deal with Winre is missing, but I have partition assistant to fix bootrec issue.

Hi it's take 2 days to get here .fitst with problems with WiFi to then mistakenly changing DHCP and getting the blue screen . Luckily i can bypass logging in with no internet by pressing shift with restart on the power button . But let me tell you how i got here . couldn't connect to internet so went to troubleshooter and tried the repair fix. Badically searched every error message or access denied on my browser but KZfaq is quicker . Thanks to you this command worked successfully. One step at a time

Didn’t work... None of these tutorials does. I do everything you say in the vid and everything is running smoothly and I’m getting all the “successfully updated” messages but when I turn on my pc it doesn’t work

It allowed me to access the hard drive however it is booting from the USB with the user access from their. Is there a simple way to transfer that boot record to the C: drive?
